  1. Although I am not sure about the internals of the keyboard (yet), I have always used Caig DeoyIt D series to clean vintage terminals in electronics. And then to protect them from getting corroded (well corroded is a strong, more like oxidized) I follow it up with the Caig Sheild. There are a myriad of products, some for if you are working with gold contacts, etc. People here can tell you if this is a good route
  2. I have so many duel lands it's ridiculous, like you don't even wanna know. They were in revised so they were pretty trivial to pick up back in the day.
  3. With any of those, was there an extra page? I see what I think is a Warranty card in my manual.
  4. Yup, well my unlimited is pretty sparse, I don't remember if I have dupes of the power 9 in my UL set. Actually most of them are sleeved and in various decks, much like video games, there is no point in owning it if you dont play with it. Here was the last time I dragged some out for this killer Bazaar of Baghdad deck. It was essentially a guaranteed 3rd turn win. Speaking of Force of Will. I still cannot believe how much they go for these days. I mean when I filled in my pre dark sets everything was rather pricey (ie the price wasnt trivial). But I remember being able to pick up of Will for about fifty cents, as they were only uncommons. Although it appears in the last year or so they have gone down (they used to be $100), prob reprinting.
  5. What exactly breaks on these? And why isn't there a way to fix them? I mean if I can reball a PS3 how can people not fix whatever IC breaks on these (i mean these are easy to replace, they arent even SMD)? If it is part of the tape drive, can't you scavenge working parts from a working normal tape drive and jerryrig it? Also is whatever breaks the fault of some IC? Like a cap going and shorting out a non replaceable microcontroller? That way if I ever turn it on, I cna make sure to replace/check the fault link in the chain.
  6. Are you asking the audience of buyers to appraise the thing they want to buy? : )
  7. Hi, just picked this up for $7.50. Wasn't really able to determine it's worth. Only a few pictures on image search, and nothing on ebay. They had another 2 at the thrift store, one with the same Lunar Lander sampler, and one with a different game sampler.
  8. Well, I normally only collect consoles, always avoided collecting the games (I opted for rom emulators), since they take up so much space. However I just picked all these up. They were $4-$10. The most expensive was the sealed TI-99 Pole Position, which was $12.50 (has sentimental value to me). Wasn't able to track down the worth of the Bally Basic thing (I paid $7.50)
  9. Ya, I think it's a hardware failure, as it only shows up as a 30MB partition. I tried using R-Studio, but nothing. It might be best that I don't recover those photos, it's better not knowing I missed out on some crazy deal (there prob wasn't, the keyboard was a fluke)
  10. I went back and bought the rest (well most, I about 3 few that were not rare and overpriced: one was atari video checkers that was like $12.50). Anyways YES they had Intellivision games at the beginning 2 months ago, but at full price, and they list things at whatever things go for on ebay. Which is why I didnt buy the games until now, as they had 50% off all the old tags. But hey I did pick up an INTV game today for only $3.45 So now I own 1/125 CIB and an Intellivision Keyboard. How would you rate my collection? ; )
  11. I believe the "thrift store" where I bought it from, buys storage lockers. It came in with a huge collection of other retro gaming stuff: a Vectrex, Atari with trac ball controllers, a hundred various games in boxes, and various other consoles and controllers in the boxes.. I took pictures of the cabinet the first day I came across it, but it appears my SD card died a day ago, I will see if I can get them back. So essentially some collector down in Southern California. The only items that weren't pre NES were an Atari Lynx in the box and a Dreamcast in a gamestop-like refurb box (I bought the Dreamcast since it was in better condition than mine).
  12. Good to know, but isn't there already scans of it around? I mean has nobody scanned the manual before? heh, glad you caught onto the play of words. deprekate is my handle for pretty much everything. And it suits me pretty well, both as the attitude and as the coding reference. Anyways as far as the hoax, in the other thread i posted pictures with the cardboard and foam protectory thing, which has probably never been seen before?
  13. Not CIB but "complete sealed without box" http://atariage.com/forums/topic/253156-check-out-my-thrift-store-find-intellivision-keyboard-still-sealed/
  14. The weird thing is I don't like to collect games. I already collect so many many things: MTG (I have full sets of beta-aliances), vintage Star Wars (full set of 92. I am missing Yak Face. plus boxes and boxes of vehicles), and a variety of other toys. Collecting the cartridges would be just too much, seeing how I go for all consoles. I just like the consoles, and use rom cards (not sure if that is frowned upon here).
  15. Not sure if I will sell it or add it to my collection. I do collect old consoles but mainly from my gaming period NES-current. Although one reason I would be inclined to sell, is because I don't like sealed items, I like to play with my collection, and I think taking this out and using it would greatly devalue it.
