  1. You should file a bug on that CD issue: https://github.com/analoguejb/Analogue-Duo-JB/issues
  2. Not really, unless you think the guy behind the Ultra FP64 is lying. That would make zero sense given that he was clearly intending to productize or sell his work for the past few years. Also, Kevtris usually pops his head up to join discussions after announcements for products where he was the primary contributor.
  3. From what I've read on discord, it sounds like Analogue's N64 is being done by the guy behind this: https://www.ultrafp64.com/ who has a github here: https://github.com/Mazamars312
  4. Official confirmation from Kevtris (via FPGaming discord) that it's due to "major hardware revisions"
  5. It's possible it's user error or there's a hardware issue with the sd card reader on this new batch of consoles. Somebody with a new unit should reach out to Analogue. Another possibility is that there was a hardware revision that made it impractical to support firmware revisions pre the current firmware.
  6. Question meant for all! 👍 $350 would be about my limit as well.
  7. Out of curiosity, assuming Analogue introduced this as the next product, would you buy it? openFPGA multisystem with built in CD drive, optional cart adapters and control adapters, and specs that would make it possible to port any existing/planned MiSTer cores If so, how much would you be willing to spend?
  8. I'd personally like to see a openFPGA multi-system with cart and controller adapters for all major 8/16 bit systems
  9. While GBC bios screen is displayed press LEFT and B simultaneously
  10. I assume that's still the eventual plan but: Jotego is one of the most active devs in the MiSTer community, and has 2,924 patreon supporters: https://www.patreon.com/topapate So if Analogue hasn't engaged with him they probably haven't reached out to anyone.
  11. Based on order number reports on discord (order numbers are consecutive), it appears Group A was approximately 5000 orders. I guess some of those might have been for 2 pockets, so maybe 6000 pockets in Group A? In terms of timing, I think the cutoff for actually getting through checkout was about 3 minutes, which was tough because of forced waiting in the queue.
  12. $10 cheaper? The drive cost is minor relative to the other parts, so I can't see them doing it.
  13. I think the difficulty really started with the Pocket. IIRC the Super Nt and Mega Sg had open preorders for months. Super Nt might have closed orders briefly right before shipping but there was plenty of time before that to order it.
  14. The Pocket will get additional runs in the future and is not limited like the Nt Mini Noir. They'll continue to produce as many Pockets as they can, but clearly people will need to be patient. Those that are patient will probably get improved hardware due to the inevitable fixes
