  1. ...sorry for the delay... At first I can make a simple function to copy selected files to a custom folder. But I'm not shure, there is still interest in the program?
  2. Thanks to Mclaneinc. We have solved the problem. In the latest version there are following changes: New: The temp folder can be configured (Note: The Atari-Archiv creates the subfolder "Archiv-Temp") Fixed: After lunching a file an error message may occur on some machines Fixed: Crash when starting without the Atari-Archiv.ini file Fixed: Hotkey CTRL + S not working AtariArchivSetup.zip
  3. ..that sound bad. Please try the following steps: 1) Please rename the Atari-Archi.ini (e.g. Atari-Archiv-ini.old), which is located in same directory as the executable, and start again. If the error occurs once again please send me the ini-file. 2) Yes, the Atari-Archiv try to use the folder "Users\..\AppData\Local\Temp" for temporary files. The temp folder is deleted at start and at the end of the program. You can change the folder in the ini file. Please change the entry e.g. "TempPath=D:\Temp" and create the folder "D:\Temp". I hope this help... NOTE: When importing a lot or big zipped files the best way is to end the program after soon and to start again. This will free the memory and delete the internal cache of the program, too.
  4. ... I'm curious about it ... Depends on your machine its possible that you reach a "critical amount" of files and you will recognize a delay. On my old system (Core Duo E6750, 4gb ram) the time to load 500.000 files is about 3s.
  5. Thanks for your suggestions which I have added in the version 1.4: - New: There are 3 possibilities to link a screenshot file: You can select a grafic file from the database You can select a grafic file from the explorer You can select a screenshot path with a folder structure like gamebase: - Screenshot path\0\Files starting with a number (0-9) - Screenshot path\A\Files starting with 'A' - Screenshot path\B\..... - New: Function "Select all items" - Fixed: In the view "History" sometimes items displayed with wrong dates AtariArchivSetup.zip
  6. ...the problem is fixed with the new version 1.3: - New: Support for file type ATX - Fixed: Error while importing an unicode path - Fixed: Incomplete display of text files with 0 bytes Note: With XP and in some parts of the program unicode filenames will be displayed with ansii characters any longer AtariArchivSetup.zip
  7. I try to implement the ATX format in one of the next versions. I can recognize the problem with files with accent mark punctuation. But the program displays "Invalid Atariv file" without crashing...
  8. There is a new version (http://www.purmike.de/downloads/AtariArchivSetup.zip) with the following changes: - New supported file tyes: CAR, DOC, LST - Improved preview of text files (ascii at the moment) - Fixed: Problem with the temporary folder - Fixed: Wrong translation in some windows Madi, thanks a lot for your suggestions and your help to test the program!
  9. Yes, I remember the problem with a huge number of files. I have already started working on a faster version... Please try the menu "Compress database at exit" (this will take a while) and limit the files with custom filters. I hope this will reduce loading time.. I think for Atari compared to the C64 there isn't such amount of stuff, isn't it?
  10. Juan, nice to meet you again . Although I have less time I hope to create a useful program to manage Atari files. The first (beta) version is now available:http://www.purmike.de/downloads/AtariArchivSetup.zip I have tested the version with XP and win 7 64. Please report all bugs. Thanks for testing!
  11. Thanks for your help! Thats right. Most of the switches from Atari800 can be used by Atari800Win. I am wondering why there isn't an "official" description... There are already exist programms to automatically mount and boot files on a real atari? With the Atari-Archiv you can start every programm with command line arguments. I could check if its possible...
  12. Hi, I hope to release in a couple of days a beta version. Unfortunately the Atari-Archiv only runs under win. Until now there is support for the emulators Altirra, Atarii++ and Atari800. To support Atari800Win (4.1) I need more informations about the command line params. I know the params are similiar to Atari800. But I cannot find a special list (the param "-help" doesn't work). Does anybody know something about it?
