  1. That's a pretty good demo, Bastian. Do you think it can work with anything made with Furnace Tracker (on the Amiga setting) or Bassoon Tracker?
  2. One man's quest to synthesize Copper Chloride for a Faraday Spirit Lamp:

As an added bonus for those who studied chemistry:

  3. I still stand by what the Follin brothers did for Plok and Equinox: I will also say that Equinox's music is an acquired taste when it comes to the dungeon music.
  4. I'm glad that Vengeance Hunters is going swimmingly in the development phase. Unlike Paprium... (Great game that was the result of development hell that would make Electronic Farts and Act-Invasion seem like working for Game Arts and Sunsoft.) The Neo Geo needs more brawlers that would be up to par with that. As for Cyborg Force, congratulations to Ozzy Yzzo for getting the game done. It's great to see another Run-and-Gun on the Neo Geo that isn't a Metal Slug clone. Edit: I thought I would include a behind the scenes video that was made back in '92:
  5. You have a point on TimeCop, Wayler. Anyways, I would like to hear what you think of these? Solid Runner by Ascii Corp. and Sting. Aretha by Yanoman and Japan Art Media. Aretha II Darius Force/Super Nova http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/psychodream.jpg http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Dream-Probe-Box-Art-canceled.jpg Psycho Dream and its cancelled US release Dream Probe by Telenet and Riot.
  6. Good news on Sega Saturn hacking: Romhacking.net - Hacks - Sega Jingle + Easter Egg Restoration
  7. Man, it has been over 20 years since Square Soft and Enix merged. Dragon Quest is still going strong whereas Final Fantasy has mostly atrophied. (This isn't going into SaGa, Star Ocean, Einhander, Bust-A-Groove, Wonder Project J, Brave Fencer Musashi, etc.) At least Seiken Densetsu is getting a new installment, which is saying something.

  8. Joushou Mahjong Tenpai: This is one of the most peculiar things that Enix published on the SNES on account of the fact that it was Game Arts' only SNES game.
  9. It's great to see one of the largest cartridge games on the Genesis/MD get ported to the GBA and Neo Geo.
  10. Quest 64's music is underrated. Fun fact: The Japanese version had some improvements over the US/PAL versions.

Quest 64 - The Cutting Room Floor (tcrf.net)

It may not be 5/5 material, but the game is not terrible or even remotely bad. I'm also split whether this game should be remastered or remade.

I personally like Quest 64/Holy Magic Century. A very underrated game...In my opinion 👍

Looks cool!  I ordered the cart!

  11. If you decide to save some money, you can use what you saved for a Satiator SD Card reader. In addition, there are quite a few fan translations worth checking out such as Bulk Slash, Stellar Assault SS aka the Saturn version of Shadow Squadron, Magic School Lunar, and Grandia. Edit: Wachenroder has an English Patch that is still being worked on:
