  1. Here's why I got the 2600+ My dad owns a six switcher Atari 2600 and had games he used to play on his, so I thought if I buy one...he could relive those days but he won't anymore so I invested in it to go back in time of what would be like to play on the iconic console today and enjoy the line of 2600 games of what it offered, and play 7800 games too (my dad never owned the 7800, which I got into that to enjoy). This was supposed to relive his days of Atari but never wish to relive it, I just love to enjoy the days of how gaming was before we had the NES or The Sega Master System when the Video Crash had happened.
  2. I do love playing Asteroids 7800 which to me is a far more better arcade like experience to play then the original 2600 version. Also time to time Xevious is another 7800 game I play to time when I have the chance to.
  3. There's no Touchpad Support for Star Raiders - you can play the game but without the touchpad its kinda useless without this working the 2600+ I've tested my copy of star Raiders and the touchpad I have and nothing no response from it.
  4. if I ever find a copy of Rampage and Double Dragon I'll try to load them and see if its now playable.
  5. Since the Difficulty switches are now swapped and working in the popular labeling position - 2600 Asteroids now has the UFO come in on the A position now, including Super Breakout's paddle size when it's on the corrected A
  6. So far I'm happy that the 1.1 beta did fixes I needed I can finally have the Difficulty switches to the correct labeling now and the fix of the 7800 reversed button layout I love it too, I can finally play 7800 Asteroids with my CX40+ until I can get a custom made 7800 controller. Sadly Star Raiders is still useless without the touchpad support I've tried every button and nothing from the touchpad.
  7. If there's still time I could test out the fixed atari 2600 difficulty switches and the 7800 button layout on asteroids 7800 version
  8. here's what Plaion and Atari should do if it cannot be reversed via firmware - just redo the top with correct labeling and issue a replacement program that they send you the top as a free replacement with just the top and you transfer your rockchip board to the correct version. I doubt a firmware update will in other means "correct it" it all relies on the traces since it's correct on the PCB - usually firmware updates cannot reverse switches if one thing is incorrect.
  9. I watched a video from John Hancock and we said these work starting with the 7800 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMFCAxlzYxg&pp=ygUjYXRhcmkgMjYwMCsgcmV2aWV3OiBhIHBlcmZlY2R0IGdpZnQ%3D Tank Command - Works Rampage 7800 version - Fails (might be a board that cannot read from) 2600 working StarGate - Works Burgertime - Works (but his is cart is not working) Artillery Duel - Works Tunnel Runner - Fails Espial - Works just listing what he had so Atari could update the list I'm gonna test xevious for the 7800 on mine since they're missing it on the list If my copy of Xevious works Atari should add it into their list.
  10. if I ever get a non working one I would sell off the rest of the controller for parts as I just need that housing only.
  11. As the title says I'm looking to take any controller that doesn't work and repurpose them for a project I'm doing. so what I'm looking for is a non working NES 4-score Controller (I just need the connector housing) and a Sega Master System Controller (it can be dead but with the cable intact) It's a weird project I'm making which is that port tester rig that Nintendo used in the factories which was used to test the Console's Ports before they had shipped it out. So if anyone has these two broken controllers I can be happy to take them and use it for parts for a project and I might make the four score a USB device instead for four player action also with the SMS Controller for the pads so I can get mine working one working.
  12. if only someone had a non working Slim Model Commodore 64 I can use for the bottom breadbin case which is needed for my BMc64 project I'm doing and I don't have all screws to secure it.

  13. I'm making a cool project called the BMC64 or Bare Metal C64 and I have a breadbin case from a member from the Commodore 64 discord and the only thing wrong with it is the Bottom's screw standoff where the right of the board screws is broken off also it has broken grill too. I'm basically looking for anyone in my area or anyone that has an old Slim Breadbin bottom that is in perfect condition and it doesn't need to be perfect if yellowed I will take it. I'll show some images so you can how see bad it is. - I could use the 3d Printed Screw Standoffs but no one never made those grills for the bottom of the case.
  14. I could use those for the Final Version - using old UV Eproms or its flash version is my own oldskool way of doing things - I do have two GB Blaster (They're Gameboy flash boards) - 1MB is gonna be used as my test cart and the 4mb is my GBStudio Dev Cart With the oldskool way I can giveaway my prototype cart when finished.
  15. I love to test my games on REAL hardware when needed I did made two socketed NES Prototype carts and I'm thinking of building my own prototype version of the Atari 2600 with Sockets as well I've checked OSHPark and I see Activision styled ones and I'm wondering if that can work for my homebrew games or not I'll list the boards I saw on the site Atari 2600 2K/4K Cartridge PCB - https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/ke2psYkp Activision Atari 2600 2K/4K Cartridge - https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/fqTcNFkn Atari 2600 8K/16K/32K Bankswitch Cartridge - https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/Z612kCkR Activision Atari 2600 8K/16K/32K Bankswitch Cartridge - https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/gmpugm1I Atari 2600 64K Bankswitch Cartridge PCB - https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/wjP27Tpt Actvision's looks simple to use if I used it as my prototype carts so I don't know - I may not do 64KB so I'll debate on what my game needs
