  1. I just grabbed a ticket. I don't have a Jaguar or a lynx, But I do have Evercade stuff. It will be nice to a have a smaller gaming event and I live a hour away. How does the ad-hoc swap meet work? Is it just bring a table and set it up in a certain area? Would power outlets be available? Also, let me know if you guys need help or to borrow any crts.
  2. I thought new members with less than ten (or one) posts couldn't post on the for sale area?
  3. My first order was on June 6 2023 and it shipped Jan 19 2024. So, 26 weeks? My second order was a week later on July 3, Hasn't shipped yet. So, I guessing that the quantity of orders is WAY underestimated by most people. I've got free shipping on my Sams club. Let me know if you need a 24 pack of 5 Hour energy.
  4. Not the same as what happened to @S1500, But I have met 2 or 3 AA members randomly just by what I buy of craigslist. Now if I'm buying retro stuff locally, I always ask if they are on AA forums.
  5. This a heck of a deal with that component adapter box box included! I've seen just those boxes go for $70+.
  6. I use an Xbox one controller, used to use a 360. The 360 required installing drivers. A generic Xbox one controller just plugs in and works. Works great for "big screen" mode in steam. I have used a switch too. Really didn't that the "accept" and "back" buttons are swapped. Normal if you are used to the switch interface. I prefer the Xbox for feel and because most pc games that fully support a controller, will show the corresponding buttons on the screen. Like "press A to run" & etc. Some games have icons for PlayStation controllers. I think the ps3 may work with just plugging in a usb cable in to charge port.
  7. If anybody here is playing with RF switch boxes, I have noticed marked picture improvement after opening the unit up to clean it. Spraying contact cleaner in the switches and vigorously working the switch can really help with the picture / signal.
  8. The new Harmony carts have a new chips. A small number of roms may need to moded to work on the new cart.
  9. Which one get - choose a unit with a disc drive. Either XBOX or PS5. PROS: Ps4 and XB one game discs are CHEAP. The X will play a large number of 360 and some OG xbox games too. CONS: I have both. I got PS5 because I skipped the PS4 and wanted to play some the 5 exclusives and the PS4 catalog. Some PS4 games require a PS4 controller - I think. The online setup for the ps5 SUCKS. If the PS5 has a network connection it doesn't like, the games take forever to load. I had to shut off internet accesses when playing some games. The X has special, expensive SSD upgrades. Which are required for series S/X games. XB one games can still played of a fast external HDD. The X box will also change the interface ever couple of years. Just different enough to piss you off. If were you, I'd figure which systems had the exclusives you want to play. And then go with brand you prefer.
  10. I bought a large Evercade lot form Blazing Lazers. Was a little worried as it was one of the largest sums of money I've done person to person. After reading his feedback, I decided to give it a go. Supper easy to work with. Good communication and quick shipping. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again and can vouch that others shouldn't to buy from him either. 10 out 10
  11. It time for "That Guy!"™️ to make an appearance! (But, seriously, as long as these PS are over 800ma, they all seem to work fine.) The power connector is a mini mono phono plug Also know a 3.5mm TS connector. This is a banana plug:
  12. Looks like you were able to clean off the tape goo on the 1702 - looks good. I guess you don't have any TVs that are new enough to tune channel 95 or 96 for the Famicom? Have you tried the channel 6 tweak? Adjusting in the modulator pot with one the plastic tuning tools.
  13. Do any of the 486 boards have pci slots? I need the bois chips for some of my boards.
