  1. I guess because I'm not that knowledgeable of Atari era games, it really blew my mind. I was born 1986 so I'm mainly a Late NES, SNES type guy. I guess I might be able to do the same for SNES games, I just thought my description wouldn't be nearly enough especially just off the top of your head. Just searched jess Minster, and had no idea looks like he made both games. Edit: Lol looks like he is the founder of "Llamasoft" you're right gridrunner is scarily close.
  2. Holy crud! I figured 3 out. It would have been IMPOSSIBLE to guess, especially with my crap description. Not only wasn't it an Atari 2600 game, you weren't a "w" or a spider, but a llama, shooting spiders. As far as I can tell you can't even jump to the top, not that I could see from watching a play on youtube. About the only thing I got right was the yellow, and there were spiders. I guess the avoiding things too. It does have in my opinion Atari stylized graphics, but I was WAY off, I think I was so young I didn't even know what a llama was. I remember I could just barely read, so couldn't tell from title. I must have just seen Arachnophobia the movie, saw there were spiders, and somehow mixed it with Arkanoid. Anyway as soon as I saw the screenshot I knew it was this, A public domain gem coverted to play on Amiga based on a c64 game called Metagalactic Llamas: Battle at the Edge of Time. I gotta download it and write it to a floppy and play it on my Amiga 500 right now. lol http://hol.abime.net/3845 You guys are the greatest, thanks for all the help! The more I look at it the more sure the last was in fact adventure too, so think you guys got them all.
  3. No, not that either. I'm going to go through the screenshots on http://hol.abime.netto test my amiga theory.
  4. No, doesnt look like it was that either. Thanks for the guess though. Edit: just as an aside its weird how many games have spiders in them or the name.
  5. No wasnt that. The more I think about it though, the less I think it was the 2600. I distinctly remember a yellow thing you controlled shaped like a w that stuck to the top and bottom of screen. It kind of sort of looked like the tempest thing, but not hollow in the middle. Feel free to send more guesses, but might be a miracle, Im now thinking it was an Amiga game, which I played a lot of weird public domain type games as a kid. Edit: Then again the fact that 3 or 4 out of 5 were able to be found within 15 minutes is kinda miraculous too.
  6. I definitely will update if I can figure out 3, and will try out adventure. Its weird I could have sworn I played both that micro surgeon game and Shark! Shark! Shark! on the 2600, but I guess I was so young I thought they were the same thing. @lucky man No, not maze craze, although that looks kind of fun, thanks so much for the try.
  7. Holy crud! You are a machine! 1. Spot on it is Bump n, jump! 2. Wasn't even an Atari 2600, you still got it, looks like it was microsurgeon. 3. Was the only one you didn't seem to get, but my memory is so hazy on it, not sure I'd fully recognize it is I saw a screenshot. 4. 100% that was it. 5. That might have been it I don't remember anything shaped like a key, I thought the things I collected were kind of round/square blocks, and don't remember as much open space, but again, I was 4 I'll try to get a ROM of it and see, then buy a cart if it is. Edit: That's crazy, I didn't even expect 1 to be identified, you sir/lady are amazing!
  8. Hello, Hoping there are some here that may be able to help me identify names for some Atari 2600 games from my childhood. My 2600 broke when I think I was 4 so all memories of games are going to be SUPER fuzzy, with weird descriptions, so if you guys can even identify 1 you are amazing. Some may not even be Atari 2600 games, one I found out on my own is called Shark! Shark! Shark! which there seems to be no 2600 version, so I must have remembered it for the Intellivision. Anyway going to list a few, any help would be greatly appreciated. 1. It was basically a racing game, where it scrolled vertically, but you could bounce your car kinda. There might have been ramps, but I could have sworn you could just press a button to kind of jump, so maybe they weren't cars? 2. You travelled down mazes, but the mazes were kind of shaped like human body parts, and there were like cells and stuff, unless my childhood mind just thought they looked like that? 3. I could have sworn this game was called arachnoid, or arachnophobia, but I might have been thinking about Arkanoid, another game I used to love for Amiga 500. All I really remember is you would be what I interpreted as a spider, shaped like a w and would jump from bottom to top of screen avoiding stuff. 4. You were be a car type thing playing kind of like a game of "chicken" with another car in a maze, I believe collecting pellet like things like pacman. 5. This one I remember the least probably, you were a nondescript block traveling a maze that was multiple screens collecting an item to advance to the next stage. Any help would be appreciated, I'll probably think of other games I would like names of, and will edit in anything else about the games I can remember.
  9. You are too nice of a guy, you need to look out for yourself IMO. Even a mod seems to recommend looking for a refund. He was on a couple times since, if he has yet to contact you, he's probably doing it on purpose. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of.
  10. Even if that were the case, and assuming they file an "Item not received" claim, he could have just shipped it and it should have gotten to him, and would have been closed without a refund after showing delivery. Compounded with the fact that this somewhat defense hinges on him lying in the BEST case scenario. That also doesn't excuse the multi month delay, bad communication, and frankly a little condescending attitude, c'mon with the I dropped it off there's nothing I can do BS. How he made it more than a couple days getting payments through PayPal with that attitude, and PayPal not closing his account is beyond me. Most who have sold even a little will know, if you don't bend over backwards while doing the macarena to please the buyer, even super unreasonable ones, you're going to have problems with PayPal. There's also the troubling many, and more being added constantly reports of packages going "missing", items arriving "broken", both to him, and the buyer. Maybe it's because I am an outsider who doesn't know him from Paul, but it's otherworldly how he was able to get a good name on this site. I'm in no way blaming anyone on this site. I'm sure there were many who had great experiences with him. I'm also sure no one meant any harm when recommending him. Perhaps I'm being too harsh on him without hearing much of his side of the story. He just doesn't seem to have a side of the story, at least not one he seems to want to tell. He doesn't seem to be banned, at least not yet. I do feel for him, and anyone who has problems with their family. Even that though it seems to be a common thread going back years that he has claimed stuff like that. Also the out of town thing seems to happen quite a bit. I certainly don't want to accuse him of something so horrid, and long/reaccuring illnesses, as well and business trips are certainly a thing, but there is a possibility that those were at least fabricated, since he seems to have either incredibly bad luck, or problems telling the truth. Edit: Seems to be someone else pointed out the INR argument is a bit flawed that I didn't see. Also just wanted to say, I didn't mean this to be aggressive towards you in any manner. It is hard to convey tone in text, and reading it came off a bit aggressive on the second reading. That was not my intention just in case it is read that way.
  11. Not sure what your apprehension is. You’ve given him more than enough time. Unfortunately you may never get your PSU, and SCART cable back, but I wouldn’t wait much longer on that claim if I were you.
  12. Honestly think Yurkie should be added. I was thinking of using him for an NES RGB modding, and very thankful I haven’t now. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/172279-yurkies-colecovision-mods-rgb-vga-and-hdmi-september-2017/
