  1. Omega Race! ? I spent untold hours playing the VIC-20 version as a kid (plus in the arcade when I could). The best port I've seen is probably the Commodore 64 version. Sadly it's been a few years since I've been able to play an Arcade Cabinet of it at PRGE (I get the impression the Arcade Cabinets are pretty rare now). Scramble & Star Castle have already been done, and now Gorf is coming out. It's the "B" button, thanks! I've had the cartridge for 2-3 years, but have barely used it (mainly for beta's).
  2. I downloaded it shortly after midnight, but waited until this morning to hunt up my Harmony cart. This is fantastic. Gorf was one of my favorite games in the early 80's. I decided to test it by first playing a couple games of the old CBS Cartridge. The difference is astounding, every bit as impressive as Scramble. I can't wait for this to be released, as it will mean 3 of my top 4 Arcade games will have modern Atari 2600 ports. My only problem is that my Harmony cart freaks out with a Sega Genesis controller plugged in. This will keep me from playing much until the cartridge is released.
  3. Are you going to be selling the AtariVox+ for those of us that want to get Wizard of Wor? Glad you're going to make it again this year, you're the main reason I'm excited to go this year!
  4. Portland has a great Art Museum, and if you don't mind coming out to Beaverton, there is Retro Game Trader. I'd suggest Saturday Market, but it takes place Saturday and Sunday during the expo! Really Powell's books is the main thing you don't want to miss.
  5. Yes, that's the sequence I'm talking about. The movement in the new version definitely seems better. It might just make the dying a little less annoying, as I'm doing it less often. I liked the old audio clip better than the "alert, alert, alert".
  6. I've been a Doctor Who fan since shortly after the Atari 2600 was released. Currently I'm totally hooked on this game. In my mind, it's proven to be the best reason to own a Harmony Cart thus far (in part because my own programming attempts are so far very, very lame). One question, have you considered making the dying sequence faster?
  7. I don't doubt it. Will you be bringing anything to sell? The AtariAge booth was the highlight of the show last year.
