  1. TPR, did they ever rescind the complaints on the facebook page you run?
  2. Looks like Cardillo Publishing just re-published some existing GIJoe collecting books in a single volume. http://forums.yojoe.com/showthread.php?t=68443&p=425264&viewfull=1#post425264
  3. I hear Cardillo is a known spammer. (Again, just hearsay, not trying to libel anyone). http://forums.yojoe.com/showthread.php?t=152168&p=897396&viewfull=1#post897396
  4. I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Can you help me out?
  5. New Super Mario Bros U has a level inspired by this painting called Painted Swampland or Soda Jungle-4. It's one of my top 5 favorite levels in a Mario game.
  6. Supercool to see you soaking up so much culture. As a guy with a Humanities major seeing all that art and theater makes me jealous. The arcades, pizza, and Nintendo store are also things I hope to check out in New York one day. Enjoy and glad to see all the smiling faces in your photos!
  7. This is why Activision came into existence. Atari didn't appreciate creators. And Activision went on to make some of the best games of the era for any consoles.
  8. I have never owned a Coleco video game product. I became most aware of the brand during the controversy of 2015/2016 involving the RetroVGS/ColecoChameleon. I learned of that from the Pat the NES Punk Podcast. I knew ColecoVision had existed during the early 80's 2600 days. I obtained an Intellivision in the last couple years from a friend that knew I was into retro gaming. After researching the ColecoVision, I became interested in owning one with the Donkey Kong pack-in because I am a Nintendo fanboy first and foremost. I had liked the Coleco facebook page because of Coleco Holdings stance when the Chameleon was proven to be fraudulent. I thought it was great that the company had stood up to Mike Kennedy's scamming actions. I was considering getting the ColecoVision flashback until I could get an original ColecoVision and the Donkey Kong game for it. I was excited for Coleco Holdings promises of reintroducing the Coleco Arcade table top games. NOW...I still want an original ColecoVision and Donkey Kong cart. I want to check out many of the homebrew games (including unlicensed arcade ports). I am very interested in the Prometheus project. I am NOT interested in Coleco. I am NOT interested in the ColecoVision Flashback. I am NOT interested in any future Arcade table tops bearing Coleco logos. The quote above rings very true for this retro gaming enthusiast who has only just gained interest in the Coleco brand in the last 2-3 years.
  9. This thread is the reason that I like the ColecoVision Fan page and no longer like the ColecoVision page. Thank you, everyone (and I do mean everyone).
  10. "<GAME> is for ADAM Computer and compatible home video game consoles."
  11. I disagree. Allowing everyone a voice ensures that no persons can claim that they weren't given a fair opportunity to represent themselves and defend themselves. What they choose to do with that voice and how the choose to represent and defend themselves allows us to judge their character and determine what involvement (if any) we choose to have with them.
  12. I'll support OpcodeVision products before I support CardilloVision products.
  13. Hisstank.com is a very good site for Joe fans but yes, he does appear to have a profile there. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/members/chris-cardillo-62938/albums/my-book-2488/ Considering he was getting on Pat's case for use of the Nintendo trademark on Pat's fan book, should he have been using the G.I.Joe one here? Regarding his "reproduction figures" that he is selling on ebay, check out the 8th post and then Chris' own response on this yojoe forums thread: http://forums.yojoe.com/showthread.php?t=68443
  14. Hisstank.com is a great resource for GIJoe items. Plug the text "black major customs site:hisstank.com" into your google search and you will find all kinds of info. Essentially, a fan calls himself Black Major after the character from GIJoe (originally a character from the European version of GIJoe called Action Force) which is the picture shared from yojoe.com above. Black Major (the fan) has somehow gotten ahold of the plastic molds from certain GIJoe figures and has a factory in China creating reproductions of these figures (rumored to be the factory where the original toys were produced). These are frequently released in alternate colors than their original releases, but have sometimes in the past been near identical to authentic figures. EDIT: I see one of the hisstank.com threads is already shared above.
