  1. Did you try loading the other BIOS files? If I understand it correctly you put the bios you want to load in the folder with the CD image.
  2. anyone else waiting on some of the new Neo Geo Games? I am waiting on: Project Neon from Full Set (well been waiting over 4 yrs) but it looks like it might finally ship. Vengeance Hunters from Nalua Studio - this one will be interesting as the company seems to have something to do with TerraOnion. Final Vendetta from Bitmap Bureau - This one is from an established maker (they made XenoCrisis) All of these are stated as shipping Q1-Q2 2024, but we will see. I am also waiting on: Digital AV Mod Core kit from 3DO Dev - this one I think I got scammed on the guy Fixel that made them seems to have gone dark.
  3. I ordered my Analogue Duo on day one of the pre-order (actually I ordered one of each Black and White), I also went and ordered the 8BitDo controllers that day. Of course I got the controllers pretty quick, not so much with the Duo. To be fair they did get it out when they said they would and I got mine in a timely manner - I opened and kept the black one (it matches my other Analogue products). Now I dont really have any games for the TG16/PCE anymore - I was an original purchaser of the TG16 when it was new and I bought the CDrom add one (and later the System Card 3.0). So I am a long time fan of the TG16/PCE, I just dont have that original setup anymore - you know life. I do also have a PCE Core 2 with a TerraOnion Super System 3 Pro Ultimate Peak (whatever its called) and it works fine, but the Duo just looks better physically. So a lot was said about the Duo - but I personally got exactly what I expected. I see people wishing for other cores, but I bought mine to play TG16/PCE games and it does that, I originally used it with the Turbo Everdrive Pro and it worked but was clunky, I have installed the Jailbreak and made an SD card (256GB) with all the files on it, it works wonderfully and as expected and the HDMI output is very nice. As to Cores I personally dont care and never expected it to have them, I have a Pocket and it does all the cores you could ever want. As to Price, I think it was fair at the 220 w/o controller, I paid a lot more for my original TG16 w/ CDrom. I am not some Analogue Fan Boy - as a matter of fact my New Years resolution was not "No established manufacturer will be getting my money in advance from now on" and well Analogue is the #1 offender here, they have been making devices for years now and have a steady stream of income from the Pocket, so you dont need a "loan" from me to make future projects happen. Are there flaws with it - yes of course the firmware and features are not all there, and I hope they get there, but I never expect it. (as they say wish in one hand and Sh!t in the other and see which fills up first). Just my opinion - but I am happy with it C0op3r
  4. I too am new to the MSX computer(s) - I decided to go with the MSX 1Chip. (I know it was more expensive) but it was much smaller and used 'modern' accessories. That is if you want to call PS/2 and VGA modern. For me it has been a high learning curve - as the machine was never really in the US, I used all of the major US releases as a kid in the 80's - Apple, Atari, TI-99/4A, Commodore IBM (PC and JR) and a few I think I have even forgot. THE MSX is neat because it uses a lot of MS-DOS style commands, but I am still learning. Cooper
  5. I am not sure how I originally missed this thread, but I spotted it the other night and read all 49 pages! I love the GB and bought my first one as a young adult in 1989 from the Toys R Us in south Miami, I used to go back every Friday when I got paid and get the new cart/game that was released, I got Alleyway, Super Mario Bros, Qix. See at first they came out about 1 a week, but then one day I went in and they was like 3 or 4 new games, so I picked one and said I will catch up over the next couple weeks. Well next week there was 6 more games, I was like WOW, so I bought 1 game. The week after that I came to the TRU and well there was like 10 new games, so at that point I had to just really start getting only the ones I wanted. The funny thing today is that Tetris and Dr Mario are my 2 favorites! I only got back into the Gameboy a few years ago with the Multicarts enable me to play games I never got to see, then I found about the modding scene and well thing went downhill from there. So the some of the highlights from the collection are: (2) Gameboy Micros (Famicom Controller I and II) [II being a Japanese Nintendo Club exclusive] - these are both unmodified. (3) Analogue Pockets (Glow in the dark, Translucent Clear and Translucent Smoke(not photo'ed still in sealed box) Gameboy Color Atomic Purple with the works for mods - Screen, Case, LED Buttons, USB-C and Li-ion Battery Gameboy Advanced Slate Gameboy Advanced SP - Translucent Glow in the dark Case with Atom sticker on the inside - and all the regular mods - screen, usb-c etc Gameboy 2DS Charizard and Pikachu - both reflashed to US version of the software Gameboy Light - no mods - but minty (I actually bought my first of these in Hong Kong Toys R US[in 1996 just before the hand over] and it was Gold - of course I no longer have that one) Gameboy Pocket Color - This is my current favorite and generally my go to Gameboy Gameboy Advanced SP Boxy Pixel 'Unhinged' with all the mods, headphones USB-C etc Gameboy Micro from Boxy Pixel front and clear replace back shell Gameboy Advance Consolized - Orange thing in the back with 8Bitdo SNES wireless controller I also love the GB Camera, I never had one of these originally but was always interested in it. I got one a few months ago and though wow this is fun. I then found out about the 'Modded' version from 2BitPixels and HDR and well things went bad from there. So now I have: Purple original Gameboy Camera (but with US board inside) HDR board with original lens and clear 3D resin printed case Original cased InsideGadgets AIO PicNRec board - I want a better case for this but have just not figured out what to do yet 2BitToy 3D printed case with original board and changeable lens 2BitToys clear 3D printed Case, HDR Board and C mount Lens I have a Pokémon Printer but really they print like garage - so I built the GBpXL interface so I can print to an Epson receipt printer - this works very well. So my new Gameboy collection branch is Pokémon Carts, so far I got the original 11 games and a few physical ROM hacks - some of which are amazingly well done. So I hope you enjoy seeing my collection and I would love to see others collections.

  7. https://www.a2heaven.com/webshop/index.php?rt=product/product&product_id=137 I had him do a custom ROM that says IIx on the boot screen, I got that from the book: Sophistication & Simplicity Never worry about what the site says is in or out of stock message him and ask him for what you need and he will usually make it for you. He is one of the nicest people to work with.
  8. 11. I have the following odd lot for sale, I am looking to sell as one lot, it includes: Gameboy LIGHT (silver) - I damaged the power switch on it when I was trying to move it to a new case, so it did work but will not turn on now. Gameboy LIGHT clear replacement shell with Glass Screen Lens (note this is not the case I used, I ended up buying another GBL since I damaged this one) so this case is NEW and complete. Gameboy Camera - Yellow - NOTE this has a Japanese main board inside not a US one, I bought a Purple Jap only GB camera but wanted it in English so I swapped boards. Gil Tessa Gameboy Color USB-C Charging Board/Kit - New - You will need to get a battery for the kit. Yes it is an odd lot but to someone that does repairs or likes to tinker its a great set, please see photos and ask questions. PRICE is 158$ SHIPPED in the US - for the entire lot. I am not currently interested in breaking the lot. Cooper
