The developer has backed away from all contact with the public Vectrex community so I assume he has no interest making Vecfever a widely available commercial product. It just totally amazes and disappoints me that he would go to all that effort to produce these great games and hardware and then not let people have them. I get that he doesn't want to spend time making and selling but why not give that job to someone else? Why start this thread and then stop posting with no explanation? He should have kept it as his own secret project if he didn't want to share. No it's not a dip switch on the arcade. I play both mame Moon Patrol and Vector Patrol and I think the speed feels just right for each platform. Perhaps on the arcade it accelerates quicker as the screen is bigger so it's more of a scale thing. If vector Patrol accelerated more quickly it would probably make it more difficult to play. I have been following this thread since he started it but made the mistake of thinking there would be a general release so I didn't bother him with a PM earlier. I can't imagine that this is true. Why would Thomas give this to testers and reviewers some of whom said it would be unlimited release and then decide not to release it? All the time coding the games that go with it. Not to mention the potential money to be made. Nope I won't believe that until Thomas posts it himself somewhere public.
