  1. Gex was a competent and exclusive (for a limited time) platformer on a platformer where there were none. Personally I hate the fact that Gex stands at about 1/3 of the screen and not centered like Mario and Sonic so the camera is always snapping back and forth when the player changes directions. The constant one-liners are annoying.
  2. 2 systems come to mind. First is the Sega CD/Mega CD. The convoluted setup alone was a huge deterrent, and the marketing went absolutely wrong by showing off all the crap FMV games as a selling point made it feel like the system wasn’t worth people’s time and money. I’m a huge 3DO fan and I feel it gets more recognition as a strong underdog, but if you take a critical look at both consoles libraries the Sega CD blows it out of the water, if only because of the JRPGs and shooters. Second is the Atari Lynx.
  3. I’m a true 3DO enthusiast so don’t get me wrong here I love my FZ-10 to death and I play it regularly but I can’t sit here and read your post like the 3DO deserves to sit on the videogames throne. Your count of 350 games surely includes regional duplicates and, yeah, they’re not all great. 90s magazines were routinely bribed into boosting their reviews and they all agreed that Blade Force was the ultimate game on the system and a console seller, but everyon who played it will tell you that the game is impressive and fun but also super flawed. The Philipps CD-i is said to have sold 1 million units worldwide. The Nintendo Wii U sold 13,6 million and is considered both a financial and critical failure. The 3DO sits closer to the CD-i in that regards. Doctor Hauzer and the Alone in the Dark Games were already outdated when they were released on 3DO and are unplayable, AVGN was spot on about the controls. Gex was ok but remember it existed in the same period as the SNES' Donkey Kong Country games which look and play a thousand times better so the 3DO was never the go-to system for platforming games.
  4. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Bulk offers are welcome. Shipping quote with Zip/Postal Code. Local pick up is also available in and around Montreal! I snagged 31 factory sealed Advance Guardian Heroes from a store that closed down. If they look like re-seals it’s because they have an outer sleeve with french text and a french manual which was shrink wrapped OVER the factory sealed game. Because Canada lol. I opened one to verify this. See the pic for the H-seam on the one I unwrapped. Not every box is guaranteed to be a 9.5+ once unwrapped since they sat on shelves all this time, and I’m not going to open them to check lol. Asking 55$ shipped. 40$ for extra copies if you want. Bulk deal also available.
  5. Need to calculate shipping. How much does an Atari game in box weigh?

I don't know about Atari 2600 games in general, but still shrink wrapped Draconian weighs 138 gram = 4.9 oz without padding.

I'm ignorant on this type stuff, but also keep in mind if this is the case, International shipping is REALLY expensive right now-I'm in Tennessee, USA, it was going to cost me over 20USD to send a friend in Mexico City a Mario Kart DKjr Hot Wheels car, and a friend was looking into shipping me a(nother) Intellivision from Canada, he said shipping had doubled since just a year or so ago.

      Nope.

      ?

with collector's items, you have to account for packaging and the weight of an additional box, because if the original box gets creased/damaged the buyer can get their money back.

  7. Hello. You have a couple items I'd really like. Consider shipping to Canada? I'm a reputable citizen, I'd pay for the full shipping cost. PM me if you think you could manage.
  8. I'll go against the current here and claim that LRG and their imitators are the gaming equivalent of Beanie Babies. I could be wrong, but if companies are purposedly creating a niche market and "restrict" access to their products today, there won't be as many people looking for them in the future.
  9. You're super kind to be looking out for me. I saw those and I do have a WTB thread on NA. The one on top has the wrong cart, so the overall value is not justified at all. Basically it's a loose "non-anime" in a "anime" box. Luckily I found a more interesting listing. Missing the manual but I can piece it out later.
  10. Hello. Looking to purchase both variants of Gun.Smoke on NES, CIB or CB. Priority is the "anime" cover art since that's the one that drew me in as a kid. Also looking for some CIB, CB, IB or just B black box games (variants don't matter): CIB 10-Yard Fight CIB Balloon Fight CIB Baseball CIB Donkey Kong CIB Donkey Kong 3 CIB Donkey Kong Jr CIB Donkey Kong Jr Math CIB Duck Hunt CIB Excitebike CIB Golf CIB Gumshoe CIB Gyromite CIB Hogan's Alley CIB Ice Climber CIB Kung Fu CIB Mach Rider CIB Popeye CIB Soccer CIB Stack Up CIB Mario Bros CIB Tennis CIB Urban Champion CIB Wild Gunman CIB Wrecking Crew
