  1. Yeah, I do. A couple of years ago I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to reduce latency for playing Rockband 4. The end result: had to keep my Atmos receiver out of the equation and play sound directly from the tv, along with enabling game mode (alongside other settings). My testing took advantage of all of that. So I'm good there.
  2. The main reason I got the 2600+: Medieval Mayhem/Warlords/Kaboom on the big HDMI screen. I opened up a set of new old-stock paddles to try it out. Kaboom was the first game I plugged in: the buckets were mega jittery and the latency was untenable - aka not zippy. Guessing there's a 150ms/200ms delay here. Now, Kaboom is known for its slightly jittery control on OG hardware, but this is at a whole other level. Couldn't make it past the 4th level. Used the same paddles on my OG heavy sixer and my modded 7800/w Retrotink. The typical tiny amount of Kaboom jitter was there, Got my usual level 8/3k plus score on each with no problem, though you could feel the Retrotink/HDMI latency a bit. Warlords had no jitter at all, but definitely see the same latency issues as Kaboom. The latency, on a big screen, forces me to overcorrect as the paddle isn't where I expect it to be for a fraction of a second.
  3. In a move, last year, one of the right-hand side dark brown button covers vanished. I just want to replace it. Please? And FYI, this is the same Atari Video Music that Jeff Minter borrowed from me, and studied, back in the early 90s.
  4. If anyone is interested in a set of these games, send me a message.
  5. Happy to dig in and check... somehow. I don't have a diagnostic cart and I don't have a way to burn my own. Could their behavior be discerned by checking the inputs/outputs on the adapter?
  6. I’m not an expert, but as they are socketed, they should allow that. I’d trust others to say that with more authority.
  7. Found my power supply. Plus another 24 of the prototype boards. And a red stickered board hosting Alpha Beam (w Ernie I presume). The games seem to be the same as the production carts. Played a couple of minutes of each. So... offer away.
  8. I have not since I first received them. I’m looking around for my 7800 power supply now. Not optimistic I can find it. FWIW. I’m in Oakland CA. If anyone was near who could have a look.
  9. But if the community suggests eBay is the way to go, I’ll do that. ?
  10. Looking for offers - I also trust this community to determine a fair value. I’ll probably package them as 4 sets of 4.
  11. I’d presume they are 7800, but I don’t know for sure. All were given to me in the same bag well over 25 years ago. The pic is pretty high resolution. What details are you looking for?
  12. Was going through my storage closest today and saw the bag those were stored in and I thought... oh crap! I never followed up!
  13. Not a fun week when I posted that. My 2 year old son ran through a non tempered sliding glass door a day or two later. Stitches and some scars for the little boy. All is well now. Forgot all about my post until today!
  14. 4 sets of Robotron, Galaga, Pole Position, and Ms. Pac Man. Boards indicate: 32K EPROM / CARTRIDGE PROTOTYPE / REV 1 / 1984 Would love to get an idea of their worth / value. (oh... and I posted these about 17 years ago here... and then life happened.)
