I picked up the Lynx copy of Toki a few months back. I really like it a lot.

When i first played PO’ed i didn’t love it. I gave it another chance a while later & found myself really liking it a lot. I haven’t played it in years but at the time it was probably one of my favorite 3DO games. I liked Starfighter a lot too. The terrain destruction was pretty impressive to me at the time.

I didn’t have a huge collection when i originally owned a Master System in the late 80’s. I was only able to get games for my birthday & Christmas. I might have had 10 games until somebody broke into our house & stole it while we were on vacation. That said, i probably played Shinobi far more than anything else.

Finished Star Wars Fallen Order last night. thst might be the first game I’ve beaten in 2024. I finished Resident Evil 2 Remake and Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 pretty recently but i think they were in late December.

I’ve always been really fond of fmv light gun games like Mad Dog McCree, Crime Patrol, etc.

The last time i played my Switch a few days ago i fired up THOTD Remake. Gyro is a poor substitute for a good ol fashioned light gun but it’s playable.

Last thing i played a couple of days ago was Sega Ages Shinobi.

I never played LoD that i can recall but really liked C64. It was janky & not all that attractive but something about it hooked me enough to play it all the way through. I don’t know if i could go back to it after 25 years though.

It’s the Plus. I never used the original model but that’s my understanding. Same internals just in a larger form factor. Has a volume rocker instead of a thumb wheel now & i believe the shoulder buttons are more offset than the original, making it harder to accidentally press both L or R at the same time. I don’t have any experience with the 351p so i couldn’t really say. I’ll get pictures tonight.
