  1. Ya-EVERY time. More literally than I thought. Lol, don't say I didn't try to help! But THIS is how ya do it. DoggoneitL2bells.mp4
  2. You have to start using the bell in the middle for almost every delivery once the Therapy Dogs get fast, that's the most important thing to completing that level! Don't always walk straight up to it, get close and hit it when the dogs are at a good spot for you you slip past them when they are frozen.
  3. Oh, YEAH!!! This is awesome. The high score on Doggone It! is 62,149, and that was by yours truly, lol, earning me a quote on the back of the box, and a long-time friendship with the author/creator. Really personally vested in this game, tho I had nothing to do with it's creation or anything- Was playing in the HSC, tbh didn't care for homebrew at all(Booo!), but had to play them, and this game just stood out. Then I learned a bit more about the story and all, and really, really clicked with the game, I'm not sure anyone will beat my score(tho I'd cheer for them if they did!), it's actually a listed high score at the Atari Compendium, so that's a bonus, if someone beats me! Just, JUST heard about this being played(I've got friends in low places, haha!), so gotta think on it, but I'll surely try to do something nice for someone, if they do manage to beat my score, but I'll have to think on what it could be. Luck/RNG plays a factor, in getting the best power ups(I'm gonna have to refresh myself on the game, tbh...), but learning when to use them properly, even sometimes waiting for Culvert Kitty to come out and exchanging them at the last moment(again, I have to refresh myself), is important. Around my score, it's almost killscreen speed, the game gets faster and faster, so there surely IS a limit in what a human can do, it's not an "endless game", so I do remember that it's important to score high early. Play the first few levels, figure out your potential, and make sure to do at least that, every time, or reset. Ah. Sorry for butting in, writing a novel. I'm just really, really tickled that this game is being played again, once you get to the point of understanding it, it's a GREAT game, I promise. Have Fun, Ya'll, I'll check in to see how it's going! Good Luck!!!
  4. Sorry for cluttering the thread, I can't afford the stuffs. I actually won a bounty on ESPIAL, playing in the HSC here, the HSC was here, bounty was another site, I used the bounty money to kick off a useless but interesting Meteorite collection. Anyway. I'm thinking of Schrodinger's cat on the graded one... How do they know? Teasing. Good Luck with the sale!
  5. Getting pretty darned close- Rampage/Double Dragon came today, both are in gorgeous condition, I got pretty lucky! Obviously not all purchased today, but this is how close I am, haha, patches and CIB's! Private Eye and Space Shuttle patches are repros, BTW, rest is real deal.
  6. I was sure I had posted a lookout here months/years(?)ago, but looking back, evidently not. Truly set on getting all the Activision 2600 CIB's and patches, and am getting down to the last few, sorta. Not saying I can jump up this second and PPL ya 500$ for a H.E.R.O. patch, lol, but just throwing these out here, what I lack, in case someone can help me out. "Nice condition" would be nice, but I can take your second, lol, no problem, and go about improving them after I get them all. OK, the CIB's I lack: (Looking for NTSC, BTW) Beamrider Cosmic Commuter Ghostbusters Pitfall 2 River Raid Seriously, that's pretty close, ya? Someone help me! Patches: Decathlon Silver Dolphin, "Amazing" H.E.R.O.(obviously...) Pitfall 2 Private Eye Space Shuttle Closer on those than I'd realized, I guess!!! Ya, I am kinda spoiled, when $ is available, and I have all kinds of stuff to trade for/towards, whatever. Thanks a lot for anyone willing to help me with some of these! Rogerpoco
  7. Not playing this season I don't think, but have, and comment some, can't resist. Mountain City, Tennessee, USA. Reason for wanting to chime in- When I first moved here from Florida, I dated a German exchange student, Yudit, from Stuttgart, was a neat experience. Very upper east tip of Tennessee, literally-road to the left is quickly in Virginia, road to the right is quickly to North Carolina, and coming up from the bottom is the rest of Tennessee, is a pretty neat place, and this is a pretty neat view I suppose.
  8. Got the Gold solo, the rest as a lot. FINALLY!!! Hands were kinda shaking when I opened the Gold, am getting pretty close to having all the 2600 patches, tho the ones I lack are...house payments, lol, kinda like the Gold(I got a good deal). Only really needed the Worm Whomper from the lot, don't much care for the game, and not the biggest INT fan(it's ok tho!), but "it's there", so I needed it. Rest are doubles, and most seem to be in better shape than the ones I already had, so yay! Haha-I deserve that Gold. Earned it on over a half dozen systems/emus now, lol, trackball or not! (Trackball, not "not").
  9. Saw this in my email, prayed for Maze Maniac, but noooooooo...
  10. Wow!!! I got Stratego for Christmas, kinda picked it out myself, for a dollar at Goodwill- Sat on the floor for five minutes, making sure it was all there. Was amazed that it was. Me and my best bud in Elementary school "Enrichment Geeks", spent hours playing this. Dying to get someone in my Family interested, but so far, no go. Man, what a good game! Yurs is on better shape, lol, but that's ok.
  11. VERY Nice!!! I'm newish to the Atari 8 bits, have a nice 600XL, I love it! Our Pitfall skills sound similar, haha, same story, finished both, but the perfect on Pitfall 1 is beyond my patience! River Raid, Chopper Command-stuff is shooting at me, and I get scared I guess, am terrible at those. Actually, I'm already somewhat familiar with what you are saying, the differences- Where I play, we also track Emulation, using Stella, which is what drives the +. It ain't the same. Way, WAY better than any flashback that was ever made, but still, like you said, when you are doing something that requires pixel perfection, say, Skiing, you can really, really tell the difference. I can usually adapt to EMU decently well, but I boxed up the flashbacks long ago. Haha-please don't take my "ego" the wrong way. I'm really good at the things I'm good at, but I'm also really, REALLY bad at the things I'm bad at., my "Space Invaders" skills are borderline embarassing. That tops my best HERO score too.
  12. I'm sure you know what you are doing, but I've truly known people who have done similar and regretted it later. That said, if I had any loose copies that matched those, I'd be hitting you up for them.
  13. Oh, I DO love Blaster-Last Starfighter seems really cool, but I just can't figure it out... Track and Field... You really want to commit your "least working" CX52 to it, as it'll prolly respond fine to "giving it hell". Don't go side to side, spin the stick in a circle, you'll go much faster, I actually hold it upside down, rest the top of the joystick in my right palm, hold the stick with the left, and make countercircles. Nice haul. House payment haul, lol. Been there.
  14. Very nice! A lot of mine started incidentally, random collecting as much as I could when I got started, developed a passion for Activision, realized I had enough stuff for a "starter set" already, haha! Word got out, actually a good friend here that I know from elsewhere, @ZilchSr, sent me just enough stuff(a lot), to where I kinda had to try to see it thru. I'm TERRIBLE at "making money", I tend to just kinda...give stuff away, but with the Activision stuff I just kinda know I eventually want it all, so I don't really target any one thing, I just kinda keep my eyes open for the right opportunity, even schmooze some-I'm actually vested enough in my interest in the patches that "Did you earn that yourself" is a standard question to a seller, haha! Unfortunately, tho they are certainly prizes, the prices on many of the patches has been almost arbitrarily high of late and some sellers think those are realistic prices, so finding a "fair seller" is getting tougher and tougher. Ha, I had two of those Stampede belt buckles, and sent one of them to @OldManG a while back, I think he wears it around town(I'm teasing...). I was a very, VERY minor partner with dude that made those Jag patches-I actually have a few doubles of some of the "modern" patches you see in the pic, not trying to shill but HMU if you want, or anyone, I just kinda "have them", haha, am not hanging on to them for investment purposes. If you like Decathlon- Get a CX22, Man. Just do it. Ya, it kinda craps on the spirit of the game. Running is easier. Running "perfectly" is NOT automatic tho. Basically, the game changes more to hitting your marks for amazing throws/runs, etc, instead of beating the hell out of yourself for middling scores. I'm...the actual W/R holder on Decathlon, not just "one place", "everywhere", BTW, at least, on video...kinda bragging... (Anything resembling me bragging is just me being a hamstick, even I don't take myself seriously...). Ya, my patch scores are funny tho- If it's timed, I prolly have pixel perfect. If something is shooting at me, I prolly barely, BARELY squeaked out a patch...
