  1. Agreed. My understanding is that it is not uncommon for these kind of odd/frustrating long delays to occur, in indie retro hardware production community projects (ref: arcade machine hardware collector community projects as an example). Especially when it is just a one-man project, and the one person has known personal RL (real life) troubles/delays to deal with. Good to keep in mind that: It is Opcode's known business model to sell multiple new programmed CV games in the future that will require the SGM, so it's clearly in Opcode's own interest to deliver on all SGM preorders asap (this year, presumably/hopefully, unless some terrible misfortune has happened to Eduardo). (And thank you very much to the "plan B" alternative SGM-manufacturing community efforts in this thread, for offering a real SGM production alternative, for those of us still waiting, in case of a worst case scenario with Opcode. I have multiple cool Team Pixelboy SGM games here sitting on my shelf unplayed that require a preordered SGM that I don't have yet... And I am looking forward to buying more Team Pixelboy game reprints later this year like Zaxxon Super Game, Buck Rogers Super Game, and Dragon's Lair that all require an SGM!) Best regards...
  2. Actually, I would be happy to see a version of the ADAM's exclusive game "2010: The Text Adventure" ported to CV cartridge format. (I enjoyed that game back in the day when I was a kid. Not sure if others here have played it, but I recall it being quite a tense/suspenseful game, based on a cool sci-fi movie plot.)
  3. Hi, I appreciate that you're still doing this. I'm looking forward to buying your cartridge versions of those two Adam games (Dragon's Lair & Zaxxon), after Opcode ships my 2nd run SGM this year. Happy New Year!
  4. With "Elite Dangerous" out soon for PC... Has anyone suggested a possible MSX-to-Colecovision port of the original open-world space combat/exploration/trading classic "Elite" (perhaps using Super Game Module): If someone could modify the MSX controls to use the CV numeric pad, and distribute the port with a custom homebrew overlay, "Elite" could be a crown jewel in the Colecovision library. Imagine spending all night exploring the galaxy on your Colecovision...
  5. Ok, I've sent you a forum message with all the details. If there's anything else you need, let me know. Thank you. Best regards...
  6. Hi Eduardo Just wondering, did you receive my above quoted PayPal payment (I paid USD$105, which includes international shipping, to eduardo@opcodegames.com) which I sent you in May of this year? (I just haven't seen any confirmation email from you yet, and don't want to miss the 2nd run SGM. Thank you very much.) Best regards...
  7. I don't think he is at the shipping stage yet, for the 2nd run. I think he first needs to catch up on sending his 'payment received' confirmation emails, to all those who sent payments to him over past couple of months. (e.g. I PayPal-ed him the money 6 weeks ago but haven't received an email from him yet. I am waiting patiently. The product will be worth the wait.)
  8. I received my set of repro CV overlays this week, and they are fantastic quality. Anyone looking for shiny new overlays to optimally play carts like Wargames, then these are all you need. Thanks for producing these!
  9. My cartridge lot from Mumbai arrived perfectly too, great value, great selection, great packaging, great seller Thank you Mumbai
  10. Thanks for the video. I owned one of these as a child approx 1984-1985-ish, and played with it for dozens of hours on my family's Coleco ADAM at the time. You could get really creative with it. I remember my favorite thing to do with it, was to draw underwater cities, with skyscrapers on the ocean floor covered by large semi-circular domes protecting them from the water. I created a different city design each time, sometimes with multiple domed cities of different sizes in one screen. Always with a pure white background, for the following reason... Each time, after the cities were drawn, I would select the Eraser tool and carefully erase one tiny pixel from some of the semi-circular domes, then I would select Blue color and activate the Fill paint tool at a random point on the screen to make the ocean blue. The result was a cool real time effect of the Coleco slowly painting all the water of the ocean using its slow Fill tool, but the fill tool could not reach the skyscrapers protected by the intact domes, but when the blue color Fill algorithm would reach one of the domes which I removed 1 pixel from, the Fill algorithm would "leak" blue paint through that 1 pixel hole into that city, effectively "flooding" all those cities that had holes in their domes. Using this method I enjoyed creating what were "mini-animations" on my TV of underwater cities flooding, which lasted several seconds, due to the slow drawing rate of the Colecovision Super Sketch's "Fill" tool. This was a really satisfying children's peripheral for Colecovision.
  11. I have now sent my PayPal payment, for a second run Super Game Module.
  12. I don't want to derail this valuable selling thread, and I'm certain you probably know far more about the Coleco ADAM overall than I do, but rest assured I'm not mistaken about having owned my favorite Digital Data Pack game for my ADAM during the mid-80s. Circa 1984-1985-ish on my ADAM games shelf I owned both the "surface-battle-only" Coleco cart version of Sega's Subroc, and the "surface-and-underwater" ADAM digital data pack (tape) version of Super Subroc, and played both games endlessly for many months at home in Stamford, Connecticut. (Until I eventually upgraded to a Sega Master System a few years later and stopped playing my ADAM.) I've been on hiatus from this forum for years, so I'm not sure what stories about Super Subroc for ADAM have been accepted as fact. But I did try to nostalgically recount my childhood memories of playing the game, on this forum over 10 years ago, and didn't get more than one response. (In that post I marked the game as being "underrated" because I never saw players talk about this classic.) Maybe now I'm starting to understand why nobody else on AtariAge was nostalgically replying 10 years ago (if the Super Subroc ADAM tape possibly wasn't distributed in the mid-80s beyond some stores near Stamford, CT). Also see my clear comment in my AA post 10 years ago that "I've wanted to talk about this game for about 20 years". Since I don't have any of my old ADAM stuff anymore, our versions of history will just have to agree to disagree. Until someone else from mid-80s Connecticut eventually pops up with their old store-bought Super Subroc digital data pack that they happened to keep with them for 30+ years, and I can then say "I told you so". Back on-topic: I've recently started rebuilding my old Colecovision collection from scratch, and am looking forward to receiving the lot of game carts I've now ordered from mumbai!
  13. Yes, my favorite classic ADAM villain I notice you referred to ADAM Super Subroc as "unreleased"? I think I also heard a Retro Gaming Roundup interview during the past year or so, where an ex-Coleco employee also said it may have been unreleased (he wasn't sure). FYI that's definitely not correct, since my family purchased my original Super Subroc digital data pack in a Connecticut retail store circa 1984-1985-ish. It was my favorite ADAM game. (Approx the same time we purchased Super Zaxxon, 2010 Text Adventure, and Super Dragon's Lair all on DDPs in local stores.) So Super Subroc for ADAM was definitely released officially to stores back in the day, at least locally in CT. Cheers...
