  1. Note in regards to the 1084D (I just got a couple): On this model (don't know for the 1084S, I wish I had one to test), the C-Sync wouldn't work (whatever the resistor value). However, injecting H and V made it work like a charm, both 50Hz and 60Hz. So if you have a 1084D around, just wire it with RGBHV (H Pin8, V Pin9).

  3. Everyone! CosmosEx is back!!! After Jookie's issues, the project has been passed over to Atari.sk to handle! If you follow the "Buy CosmosEx" link from Jookie's CosmosEx page: http://joo.kie.sk/?page_id=384 it will redirect you to Atari.Sk's page where they are discussing the CosmosEx 3 project. Seems to involve some upgrade, pending the first 100 people to reserve theirs, we are at 39 at the time I'm writing this! Thought I would share with the community!
  4. Collector condition, must see! Clean and tested, everything is in perfect working condition. Most items have been through a retr0bright treatment. Only sold as a bundle. - 1 Atari 800xl computer - 1 Atari 1050 floppy drive - 1 Atari 810 floppy drive - 1 Koala Pad (as seen on the 8-bit guy youtube channel) - 1 Atari XM301 Modem - Bunch of floppies including DOS2.5 - Atari power supplies - SIO cables - Composite adapter cable Perfect for retrogaming or as a collectible. Could consider partial trade in for Voodoo graphic accelerator or other retro gaming gear. Local pickup prefered, Calgary AB (Canada)
  5. -- SOLD -- Sorry I don't know how to delete a post, let me know if there is a way!
  6. Oops, thanks for catching that, obviously a n00b on this forum but I intend to gain some ST Cred here haha! I wanted to talk about English Invader & ParanoidLittleMan btw!
  7. Thanks for all your feedbacks. Oh guys, you are making it so tempting to keep them all... Moonsweeper I hate you haha! Dragonstomper : I actually have a MegaSTE back in homeland that I can't get yet so I've been compensating my nostalgia needs with those
  8. Hi ST Lovers, After acquiring a few units, I will let go a couple I don't have a use for (and to make some room as well). - Atari 1040 STf - 4Meg - TOS 1.04 - Atari 1040 STfm - 1Meg - TOS 1.04 Both units FDD fail reading even after head cleaning, couldn't find the problem and don't want to take the risk messing with the fine adjustment. Fully functional units, RAM tested. Both Floppy and AHCI controller tested with a CosmosEX. Excellent cosmetic condition. Accessories : Mouse : Will come with original SM1 Atari Mouse, all working perfect. I have SM1 variants, let me know if you have a preference. Monitor : up to you. I only have High Res SM124 Price : As for the price, make me an offer I can't refuse Location : I am in Calgary (Canada). I would prefer local pickup of course but if shipping is required, I will arrange. Pictures : Please let me know what picture you will need and I will post in the thread. As for offers, please PM me! Cheers, B.
  9. Hi everyone, Selling the EMAGIC Log3 extender as I have no use for it. Only have that module, perfect condition. I looked around for average asking price but I'm open for reasonable offers! Cheers! (Don't have pictures with me but will post all angles you are asking for)
  10. On this model, most likely TOS is on chip. - With a blank floppy inserted : boots to GEM within seconds - Empty floppy drive : FD will "seek" slowly for a good minute until GEM appears. If not, you may want to check TOS chip insertion. You can also use SYSINFO.PRG to check your system and TOS version. Cheers, B.
  11. Hey, Not sure if it is OK to link an external resource on this forum, mods please delete if not. RetroStuff, here is the best resource you can get : http://info-coach.fr/atari/hardware/interfaces.php#atari_video_connector Just skip the Audio pin if you don't need it. For Monochrome, I would just keep 4 wires : - HSync (9) - VSync (12) - Ground (13) - Monochrome signal (11) /!\ Don't forget to short Ground(13) and MonoDetect(4) on the Atari side to save a wire. Great schematic with pinouts visible here : http://atariage.com/forums/uploads/monthly_10_2010/post-6701-128665872766.gif This one is for VGA output but you get the idea. Cheers, B.
  12. Hi everyone, I recently acquired a few units, and I am having internal dilemmas. I would like to only keep the 2 most valuable ones but I would like to have your insights. To you, which units have the most collector/overall value? Here are the systems I just got : 520 STm - 1 Meg - TOS 1.00 520 STfm - 4Meg - TOS 1.04 1040 STf - 4Meg - TOS 1.04 1040 STfm - 1Meg - TOS 1.04 1040 STe - 4Meg - TOS 1.06 I was thinking keeping the first and last one. The first for collector reason because it was a very early model, to run early games. The last because it is the "Enhanced" version, 4Megs to run a bunch of fancier games. What would you do? What would be your sorting order and why? Please share. Cheers, B.
