  1. Unfortunately I only made disk copies and not images - I'll take a look and see what I can do but it may take a while. However I think the TOSEC collections on archive.org might possibly have copies of these magazine disks... ?
  2. Nice work in getting a full set of digital copies and good luck in getting a full set of physical copies. Of the ones I had the mags held up over time far better than the disks that came with them - those tended to give up more quickly than a lot of other magazine disks I had in my collection. I think I was only able to back up maybe 50% of them at most... ?
  3. Unfortunately I don't have 6 (my collection started from 10 I think) but I have uploaded my versions of 45 and 57. Hope that helps. JH ?
  4. I had scanned a lot of my issues (quality may vary) before selling them a couple of years ago - if you still need any of those remaining ones am happy to see if what I have will help fill out the collection. ??
  5. Nice find Paul and well done PP in resolving it. ?? Was really curious about this issue when I first saw the forum post as it's been one of my regular "go to" games on my 2.06 STE with PP's driver and it had been running perfectly. Would not have even thought about PAL/NTSC... been so long since I had to think about that being an issue. Modern displays have really spoiled us a lot! ?
  6. I'd lean towards the 65XE because I prefer the form factor for regular use but would miss the top mounted cartridge slot. +1 for the 800XL too. ??
  7. I suppose the Power Pack might have prevented many users from buying new games immediately with their ST but after that you'd think the interest for newer games would come. From a consumer perspective it's hard not to be happy with the games bundled in though and I played many of them constantly over the years when the ST was my main computer. ?
  8. What a great list! The applications that immediately came to mind for me were: Print Shop - that got so much use in our family for making things. An incredible piece of software to encourage people to use a computer. I remember making a lot of images and borders using the PS Companion (?) too. Micro Illustrator / Atari Artist - really got into graphic art thanks to these and both the Koala Pad and Atari Touch Tablet. I may not have been a terribly good artist but I enjoyed the process! Typesetter - a number of high school assignments were made with this and when I found I could combine it with pages that had Print Shop borders (yes, double printed) I was able to leverage both with great results.
  9. I have one of these too in my collection and I look at it as being an obscure item that might be worth a talking point or two when I show things off to anyone curious. ?
  10. I liked the original one the most but thought 6 was pretty good too with that metallic like sound at the end. Will add I'm not making comparisons to how the other platforms handled it as I never played the game before so going into this with fresh eyes and ears. ?
  11. Best of luck with the repairs - it looks like a cool project! ?
  12. I have many great memories of drawing in Atari Artist (?) when I was young so appreciate seeing this.
