  1. The two different colours of Space Invaders printed in different places: Red : BT 1989 Blue : Whitways 1990
  2. Found a TV Boy 3 for sale and had to get it (it's the only one I've ever seen). The chips on this one are 2x COB blobs which are soldered on a separate board to the controls and power. I don't have the knowhow to dump this as I have no idea about the pinouts but it looks as though there's enough connections to run traces from. I haven't unsoldered the boards yet.
  3. I think this is the Inc 5 language C016972 version of Space Invaders but all tabs are missing from the box.
  4. As with Backgammon this has all 4 tabs still attached, date and printhouse but no CO number on any of the the tabs. The manual version matches up with the rest of the C016972 5 language versions.
  5. Found a couple of other 5 language Inc versions. This version of Backgammon has all 4 tabs still attached, has the date and printhouse but no CO number on any of the the tabs. The manual version matches up with the rest of the C016972 5 language versions.
  6. Picked up a Junior box which was nearly destroyed and noticed the print house and date on the tab. Is this of interest? July 1990 seems pretty late on in the 2600's life.
  7. Sorry this ones in my collection so not for sale. Here's the Space War multi language version, I heated open the bottom of the box. The tab picture is a bit blurry but you can make it out. The manual also has a matching number to the tab.
  8. It's been a while since I went through everything so I'm a bit rusty on the details. If it's greyed out are you still looking for it? For example I have this Space War with 5 languages on the back. The manual is the 01697.... version but the bottom of the box is still glued.
  9. Yes mine is also PAL it has the sticker on the box. Mine has thick tape across the front of the box so it looks like it was taped to another game. Shops did this sometimes to bundle pairs of games together for a deal. I currently have it listed on eBay, is it worth keeping this box variant? The version in my collection that I've kept is the one without warranty and game program in big letters on the back.
  10. Where about in the world are you? I'd be happy to trade you for something else. Would feel too sleazy just to take it. Edit: Whoops it said it on your name. I'm way too far away.
  11. Nice find, looks like your playing on an Atari 2600+, I think these play the games from memory. Has anyone worked out if you can copy that data over to an SD yet? Would be an awesome use for the 2600+ if this was possible. Your version has "Shooting Gallery" as the name on the label. The final release was "Shootin' Gallery" without the G on "Shootin". Would be awesome if you could get this dumped to find any differences. I already popped him a message on Facebook about this. For some reason my 1st reply didn't go through here (don't think I was logged in). Here's the Facebook post about the PAL version where Dennis replied https://www.facebook.com/groups/atariage/permalink/10159998932440255/.
  12. Thanks, I knew I'd heard that word before. It's one of the standard 128 General MIDI sounds on most keyboards.
