  1. So I decided to take the plunge and bought a VCS off ebay. I picked up one of these controllers https://www.amazon.com/SANOXY-Wireless-Remote-Control-Mouse/dp/B0050PUGZE/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=sanoxy+remote my hope is that Kodi has an onscreen keyboard that I can type things into with that remote. I plan to boot into LibreElec, load the amazon plugin along with Pluto TV and tubi. I'm hoping I can make it all work and make it simple. I may end up buying a keyboard like the one you linked to. That's a killer price if I need that functionality
  2. Does the controller play nice when using Kodi? I have heard you can use a controller with Kodi but don't know if the Atari one is a good fit. Thanks for the replies.
  3. I'm confused about the Amazon Prime Video app. Can someone clear it up for me? I don't currently own a VCS so this is from the point of view of someone who is very short on info. My understanding to this point is that there is no native app for Amazon Prime video. Is that correct? You must use a keyboard and mouse to navigate a shortcut in chrome? I ask because I currently have a PS4 set up on my living room and use it basically as a media streaming device. I don't play any of the games on it so I'm thinking about replacing it with a VCS but I need it to be as easy to use for Amazon Prime as the PS4. So the Controller needs to work in Amazon Prime. If that doesn't work, does the Plex integration with Amazon Prime work around this problem or do I have exit out of Plex in order to get to the search results? Lastly does anyone use Amazon integration with Kodi? Is it possible to set the VCS to boot into another OS by default? My thought is to have it boot into Libreelec and then boot into Atari OS when I want to play games. Thanks!
  4. It looks like most of the carts are out of stock due to shortages. I think I maybe found 1 at VCC that is available? After looking around it seems like the AVG Cart is probably most up my alley. It seems to do the most things and well. I think between that and a FujiNet I should be able to do most anything I can think of. This will be used on a 600XL. I need to get on a waiting list somewhere I guess.
  5. Oops sorry my eyes must have glossed over that pinned topic. I will check it out!
  6. Looking to buy a flash cart. So far I have found 4 different types. The Ultimate A8 Cart, The MyIDE II, SIDE3 and the AtariMax cart. Can someone tell my what's different about them in terms of ease of use and compatibility? Which is best for a newbie? Thanks!
  7. ?Thanks for the offer Curt. I think I may have found someone to take on the work.
  8. I'm in Southern California. bfolowell - Yes that's right, add the monitor port and the UAV Bebblebrox - no, I haven't yet purchased the UAV. Is there a version you recommend? Can either of you point me to the UAV install instructions? or tell me how to find them?
  9. I did check with Brewing Academy and they offered to to do it but suggested there may be some that might do it for a little less than they charge. So I figured I would check here first.
  10. Who is a person I should speak to here who can offer a service to install a UAV into my NTSC 600XL? Anyone have any recommendations? (someone in the USA) thanks! By the way does AA have a place where people can post what services they offer?
  11. I totally dig this. I think it looks great. While I can understand some people wanting to keep it original, this makes it "yours" and there is something to be said for that.
