  1. I don’t have a consolized one, but I am looking at letting go of my Darksoft CPS2 in a Dynamo HS-9 cabinet. I’m in North Texas if it’s something that interests you.

  3. Technically there were 11 that have changed hands over the past 10 years and one more (Rebel Star) that has supposedly been found, but never publicly documented. I can personally vouch for the 11 though as I have them all after a long time hunting them. Spoiler alert: They all pretty much suck!
  4. No, they postponed the announcement until Monday with it going on sale Friday. Saturday Morning RPG had already been announced to go on sale the 25th of May.
  5. I never knew that. Very interesting! Just went to pop it in and give it a shot, but it seems my copy is still sealed. Not real sure when or where I got it, but it looks like I scored pretty well on this one. I guess I'll be looking for a second copy to actually play now.
  6. How was Outrun Coast to Coast distributed? I just assumed it wasn't released in a large quantity.
  7. Thanks for the list. I didn't notice it was one of his when I clicked, just got excited to see some Xbox love. <shrug> Teen Titans is the only one on that list I don't have, but I've seen several copies of it. Maybe worth picking up.
  8. Dang, I got all excited when I saw this post about xbox rares only to find out it is a video. No offense to MJR, but most of my surfing happens somewhere that I can't/won't watch video. Can someone post a list of the titles discussed? I spent a lot of time trying to nail down the games I suspected would end up hard to find and I'm curious how I did compared to what others are seeing in the market. Of the titles mentioned so far, I agree completely with Outrun Coast to Coast (only copy I've seen is the one I own). Stubbs I've seen a few times, but it's definitely hard to get and VERY good. I've also been lucky enough to pick up a few Japanese exclusives beyond Metal Wolf Chaos. Not the best games, but cool to own and something you don't see often. Drihoo, Magi Death Fight, Psyvariar 2, the 3 Shikigami no Shiro releases, and Tiny Helicoptor are all english friendly. From the EU side, Mashed is worth checking out. It was on PS2 domestically, but not XBox. Not expensive, but cool to own. Airforce Delta Storm and F1 were two that I thought would end up being tough, but I've seen countless copies of both of them. Same with Barbie Horse Adventures.
  9. Powerage is an AC/DC album, not Maiden. Does that change your thoughts on the theme of the game? I don't recall Powerage (the album) having a cohesive theme.
  10. I found myself needing a way to have a second controller and without being able to find a controller adaptor by itself, I took a gamble and bought one of the USB to SNES adaptors that RetroUSB sells. All I had to do to get it working with the Retro Freak was remap the controls as it came up as a generic SUB device instead of SNES. But once I did that, it works perfectly. Not a bad way to get a cheap second controller adaptor.
  11. I'm with you. I picked one up after a buddy raved about his. I've never been into emulation all that much, but thinking it would be a convenient system to travel with got me interested. After messing with it a bit, I've found that it's not perfect, but has changed my mind about what a product like this can be.
  12. Yea, that's what I figured so I've started going that direction instead. It was going to be really convenient to be able to just dump stuff to it, but the reality is I would never play everything. So choosing the big ones may help me focus a bit more and enjoy what I do load.
  13. Does the rf always go through the loading step for the sd card on bootup? Ive been playing with installing romsets, but it takes longer than 20 minutes before i can select a game. This is on firmware 2.0 with a 32gb uhs3 sd card.
  14. Got the Retro Freak yesterday. It's exactly how it was advertised and arrived quickly. Free bump!
  15. Picked up a Retro Freak console from him. Was advertised as like new and that's exactly what it is. Great to work with, fast shipping, and no issues at all. I hope to do more business in the future!
