It's probably fine. That behavior is normal. The Jaguar won't power on at all without a game plugged in.

Yep, I also have a Nuon. I have an Toshiba SD-2300 with four games. I think it's a decent DVD player and sometimes I even like loading up the games.

The only place I've seen the power pads for sale is Video Game Source in Germany. They sell for €29.90 which is approximately $27.10/£18.60. Sorry, can't help with the Falcon.

Some of the games on the Arcade's Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 1 disc support the PSX mouse. I think they're Missile Command, Tempest, and Centipede.
