  1. ok ive watched a vid and hooked up power to the cd4050 now both uav and rf work.
  2. is it possible to solder the socket to the top of the CD4050 in a six switcher PAL and plug the UAV rev D in there or do i need to remove the CD4050?
  3. how do fit the audio board to a light sixer PAL? theres nothing in the instructions.
  4. anyone know how to install the audio board with the 2600 light sixer?
  5. have you got a copy of the install manual for the rev D not sure where mines gone. as i havent got a scoobies which TIA pins i need or how to fit the audio board. thank you. p.s. ive already fitted the jumper setup before i realised i could add wires direct. i assume there is still the possibility of connecting to the relevant holes next to the jumper bank?
  6. anyone got a tap point pic for a light sixer C012283 rev B PAL from 1978. id like to fit it using wires to tap points rather than ontop of the CD4050.
  7. planing on finally getting round to fitting a UAV board and recapping my light sixer PAL revB. i then notice this static mod so was looking into it but cant find any values or type info for the components. i would probably just buy the kit but im in UK and would be alot easier to order the parts from UK.
  8. quick question. can I use a common ground (like the cable shield) for the outputs? so I can use a 4 core cable to do the chroma luma comp vid and audio then the shield as gnd?
  9. Think I’ve figured it. If I use the jumpers then connect the wires to the cd4050 holes on the uav then to the relavent points on the a2600 board it should work.
  10. Is there a way i can connect the board with fly leads like this even if ive already soldered the jumper header in? I saw this picture after i soldered the header in. eg. Can I soldier fly leads into the holes for the socket pin headers? Then presumably use the jumpers to configure the board?
  11. ive sent you a PM Bryan. not sure if they are getting blocked. want to order the PAL UAV asap.
  12. thanks guys will look at the Bryan's UAV mod. I know what your saying about being pure, that's why I wasn't keen on the RGB mod. ive already done one 2600 and done the same trick with the external box approach. the reason I'm asking is that I'm selling the first 2600 to a friend and just wondered if things had moved on from the Longhorn mod and the fact the guy selling the Pal mod here in the UK doesn't seem to be about anymore.
