  1. I use a Logitech unifying receiver in The400 Mini and it works with my K400 and K410 just fine - using a bolt or standard non unifying dongle I get no connection to the 400 Since the K780 comes with a unifying receiver I have no idea why its not working... sTeVE
  2. @infinite.pies - Plaion are a publisher/distributor - Retro Games the developer AFAIK sTeVE
  3. The400 mini is not made by Atari… …pedantic I know, but we should direct our ire at Retro Games as they designed and built the system and its peripherals… I should also qualify that I have had no trouble with my CX stick… sTeVE
  4. 00010599 - bought from Amazon UK sTeVE
  5. I play both - but not off the carousel 🙂 I have good versions and dropped them on the USB stick and play from there instead... sTeVE
  6. Mine has arrived too! Perhaps get some time to use it a little later on! sTeVE
  7. Not sure I follow your train of thought regarding naming - 99.9% of those who buy these will have no knowledge or care what’s inside, so the naming you propose seems pointless… sTeVE P.S. EA did not make M.U.L.E. Ozark Softscape did, EA published it…
  8. TBH its just a few days until we can find out for certain 😛 My thoughts... A $100 plug and play device will not be a perfect thing, expectations need to be kept realistic... Since all 5200 games have A8 ports I'm not sure there is an issue with real 5200 games - and yes I know some actual 5200 games use proper analogue controls - I doubt The400 will support that... The carousel will not be editable based on the previous hardware (A500), but I have found that is largely irrelevant since you can just load anything off USB - I have all their other machines and whilst I dabbled with the carousel alternatives on the C64Maxi (and it was a fun time sink), I went back to stock and found loading off a well organised USB stick is much easier... I have found that some 3rd part controllers work, lots do not - the supplied one(s) with their other devices have been pretty solid IMHO, so not really a worry... sTeVE
  9. Sadly not... I managed to keep some of the Harlequin projects, but sadly a fair few slipped thru my fingers, including some neat demos from developers we did not sign... sTeVE
  10. Yes we got a ways into the conversion - planning our screen design was the tough bit. We decided on all players for the bike and rider and missiles for the newspapers. All other sprites done with character graphics (Antic 4)... Raster not DLI interrupts for occasional colour changes - however the diagonal scrolling made that a little complex, so it was limited in use/impact We got a scrolling section of the "street" working with player bike and RC car obstacle - but no collision or gameplay... And it was developed in 1988, so I imagine it would be easily bettered today 😛 sTeVE
  11. The previous devices by Retrogames have included nice manuals with clear instructions on how to access games stored on a usb device - super simple... sTeVE
  12. Annoyed me every time I played from the day I bought my original cart! I find it funny how something so visible to me is invisible to others - I guess we all have slightly different wiring in our brains 😛 And now it is gone 🙂 sTeVE
