  1. I'm from Spain, and the seller has configured eBay not to allow questions, so I understand that he will never ship to Spain So, maybe someone can buy it for me, of course, I pay in advance...
  2. I have this same problem with a 1050 unit, but without the Happy unit... Single density format and reads ok, but when I try to format to enhanced density, the head goes up, but doesn't come back to the initial position (gives error when the head reaches the end).
  3. Hi, I was told that NTSC games can not run in PAL machines, so, how I differentiate PAL/NTSC boxes or cartridges? Thanks you in advance.
  4. Thank you very much for the prompt response I used the search, but it seems that I'm a bit... unlucky
  5. It would be possible a hardware adapter to run 5200 games in the 8-bit line of computers?
  6. Hi, Can anybody point me the approximated dimensions of the Atari 520 STE unit and also the dimensions of the standard box (white with grey line out of the main unit). Thanks in advance.
  7. That's it, title says everything, just for curiosity...
  8. Ok, let me see if I understand correctly... Now I'm formating disks DSDD, in a PC I'll obtain 360 kb... Do I need a especial type of disk to format in ED?
  9. Sure, I use the same disks to format in Atari SD... I tried to change all the IC on the pcb with a dead drive I have, didn't resolve the problem... (maybe both have the same problem).
  10. I'm trying with double sided, doble density disk, Nashua brand...
  11. No help available? The drive almost works well with single density disk, format, writes and reads with no problem... But I don't have any enhanced density disk to test if I can read and write to it... Also I noticed, that when the drive it just powered on, doesn't read well, or read any at all. Normally, it reads the second disk...
  12. I forgot to say that the drive pass all the test in the diskdiag test, except for the Head Step/Settle test.
  13. Finally I managed to get working this drive, it seems to be only a speed problem which I solved with diskdiag, a 1050-2-PC cable and ARFD utility... But I'm unable to format disk in enhanced format, altough I can read-write-format single density disk. I've been watching the drive's head, and when formatting single density disk, it moves down to the end and then come backs to the start. When I try to format enhanced density disk, when it reach the end, doesn't move anymore. When I format from ARFD, I get the error number 144, and when I format from DOS 2.5, it keeps trying again and again. Where is the problem?
