  1. Yes, I tested the images at that specific link before I updated it. Download them from that Archive link above. You should only have to place them on USB and modify the Atari Model as needed.
  2. I've edited this to point at a different source, coincidentally in the MiSTer pack : D
  3. 2600daptors with a custom config string
  4. Since this is a stick thread, I'll point out that I discovered that theC64 mini controller is truly abominable. While the400 stick is flawed, I refused to use that theC64 piece of crap stick for more than about a minute. A key difference though is that I paid about $75 less for theC64 - so just throwing the controller in the trash is a more 'acceptable' solution... Definitely a huge part of the reception overall. Some folks were tripping over themselves to ignore/excuse 2600+ flaws, here for the400 not so much.
  5. May be handy for some folks, especially considering THE400s directory limitations... https://archive.org/download/htgdb-gamepacks/%40MiSTer Pack 2023-06-09.7z/Games%2FAtari800%2FHDimages.zip
  6. Ugh, so its the same terrible thing that theC64 does...
  7. I haven't tested PAL software on the unit - does it actually switch video modes when running it? I quickly found out that theC64 does not, so when I run PAL software on my NTSC setup unit it plays but at the wrong speed. There is a small hack utility for it that masquerades as a firmware update to actually switch the thing into 50Hz mode luckily, but it's ridiculous that it's required.
  8. This. It's not like I heard from them when I emailed support about issues - but they certainly aren't reading or engaging on this forum. So if you don't tell them directly, chances are they aren't going to ever hear it.
  9. Retro gaming as I had one back in the day. Non extremely niche practical uses are a thing of the very distant past. Although I do have a Mega STe (and a Falcon for that matter) I've really come to like this little guy for that purpose, with it's HDMI out, RAM and accelerator expansions hidden in there.
  10. Yes an option should definitely be provided for that.
  11. Place this file on the root of your USB stick. You will of course lose some functionality by doing so.. Reminder: You can bring up the onscreen keyboard ingame with HOME+MENU gamecontrollerdb.txt
  12. Yes I meant Warriors of the Eternal Sun (although I am interested in Order of the Griffon as well...) I also noticed that someone has developed a patch for Warriors of the Eternal Sun to correct a number of bugs in the game. https://github.com/planetchili/wotes_patch
  13. I've thought about it for a while, and I'm very strongly considering picking this game up next.
  14. As I just posted in another thread: For 5200 stuff I'd say it's not 'lag' per se, but the controls just not functioning correctly at all, as currently designed. So it's not just you, it just doesn't work properly.
