  1. Holy cow, holy cow - I had no idea of any of this was going on. Sorry for the delay, but I'm currently selling my house and spent the last few days working and prepping it to go. I would have stuck around if I had known people were talking about this. So here's the skinny: I was a regular lurker on rec.games.video.classic back in '93-'97. I bought the games back then because I pretty much stopped collecting around then. I had around three hundred or so 2600 and a whole bunch of other crap. I carried it around for many years, but now that I'm moving I'm trying to cut down. I sold most in a garage sale, but kept a handful of games that I figured might be good on Ebay, including the SX and Etris. I had no idea about the controversy surrounding them. Let's see if I can dig up any old RGVC posts of mine... Uh..., here's my name in one. Anyways, at the time I bought them everything seemed hunky-dory.
  2. I'm getting rid of the last of my stuff. http://cgi.ebay.com/Hozer-2600-Games-Edtri...1QQcmdZViewItem God, that's a horrible URL. Here's a TinyURL + Preview http://preview.tinyurl.com/yp7z7x Edtris #149 and SoundX #75
  3. Started selling games again. First up: Okie Dokie #72 #72 of the original Okie Dokie. Four boxed Supercharger games, two new...
  4. Okie Dokie #73, just as nice as the day I got it. That's the rarest thing that I'm selling, everything else I'll put into a topic.
  5. I had a bunch of these that I ebayed a few months ago. Got $120 or so for 8 of them.
  6. Re: Fade: You can get some (tinted? Ionized? Some kind of treated...) glass for 'cabinet doors' that protects the items under it from fading. Quality framing uses it for valuable documents or easy faders, like newspapers. Of course, you'd have to add doors to your shelves, but it's an idea...
  7. Homebrew Logo - You know what they say, the best way to predict the future is to create it. My humble suggestion for a homebrew logo, released into the public domain - use, abuse, ignore.
  8. Is there an international homebrew symbol or something? I'll see if I can work the hacker symbol into the next one...
  9. I just read the parts that I skipped over when I was looking at the other submissions. WRT the Fuji and the Atari name and whatnot, it looks like my first entry is probably hosed. )!*#%)!#*%)#(* Anyways, this one has Fuji on it too, with the word atari from the SF Atarian font. I'll have to go back and edit it later.
  10. Here's mine - I'm a real novice at this, but I really dig these contests. Quick note: I think that Justin Scott's "2001" cartridges (or whatever that is) are the most visually interesting ones that I've seen. Kudos!
  11. P.S. The text on the tape reads: "Coleco Game Copy" "Tunnels And Trolls Demo"
  12. I've got an ADAM copy cart tape that I don't know where it came from. I was never an ADAM collector, so I don't know why I had it. I know the Bay of E wouldn't allow me to sell something like this, so if anyone is interested, just let me know... Large images avail here
  13. I've always held that Atari really pooched it when they just quit trying with sports games. Sports games really move consoles. Atari's last good sports game was RSFootball. After that, they really didn't try. 7800? Ninja golf? Please. Jag? Nope.
