  1. I was convinced this was just another "lootcrate" until I saw the reveal. another flashback? meh....
  2. I have worked with Michael over the years to release several Sega CD titles as well as the continuing discs in the Arcade Ambiance Series and our last collaboration - From Neptune to Earth (a fan based fiction piece.) Michael has been a quality business partner (and competitor) and a good friend. His reliability in our dealing has always been top notch and I think if you are seriously considering this purchase, a phone call to Michael would help relieve any suspicion you might have. Best of luck Michael, I'll speak with you soon! Jay J2Games.com
  3. With Al's kind permission, I am posting the following here on AtariAge. I figured if I wanted to find a quality and knowledgable Atari Moderator - I would need to come to the undisputed place for all things Atari... HERE! Mod: If there is a better location for this posting - appreciate your redirection. _____________________ Greetings Gamers! J2Games.com, a North American based online videogame magazine/classic gaming web-store, is rapidy expanding and seeking forum moderators. Moderators are the "voice" of the console systems, discussing relevant topics and news articles about the systems that interest them most! We are looking for collectors and hobbist/enthusiasts for our Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Colecovision, Intellivision, Vectrex, TG-16, Handhelds, Arcade Machines and Japanese, German, UK, Australian 'Import' Collecting and System. You need NOT be a journalist or professional writer, just be passionate about the system you want to represent! Multiple moderators for the same areas and crossover between forum areas is also acceptable! (and appreciated!) We are looking to round out our featured writings and spark continue discussions within our forums and amongst our readers. (and who knows, you could become the next J2Games featured writer!) This position if not meant to be competitive to AtariAge or other sites. What we are most hoping is to extend the coverage provided by these great sites through reciprocal posting, shared information and opinions, etc. One example of the type of coverage we are looking for would be in our Atari 2600 section - there is a huge homebrew crowd constantly coming out with great new quality items. Discussion and information on these items with links to where they could be purchased, reviews of the game, etc is ideal. How can you become part of the team?: Think about which systems you are most passionate about or how you can/would like to contribute and simply drop us a note! We enjoy voices that stand out, have an opinion and aren't afraid to argue a point or resolve a question! Email 'jay@j2games.com' with a quick paragraph on who you are, what about console gaming peeks your interest, which system you think you're best able to moderate and we'll set up a call to talk live with you! (you can PM me through here as well.) You could be the next person joining our growing team!
  4. Win a GAME DOCTOR Prize Packet! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We wanted to share this with our friends here at AtariAge. Please join us and get in your question for a chance to win some great stuff! http://j2games.com/new/forum/index.php?topic=847.0 " Back when I was writing the column Q&A for the original EG in the early 80s, I always made it a practice to mail whichever reader sent me the best question each issue a Game Doctor Prize Packet. This was just a collection of gaming geegaws -- pens, temp tattoos, pins and other items bearing game logos and such -- but some of the most prominent people in today's game industry were among the winners and still tell me how much they loved getting these game treats. Well, I've decided I want to do a new Q&A column once a month here on J2Games.com, and to prime the pump, whoever sends me the best question each month (deadline for the next installment is Halloween) will get a very special Retro Prize Packet that will include game magazines, pins, pens, logo mugs and more. Of course all questions are subject to being printed. So start scratching your heads, stroking your beards or whatever it is you do to generate a solid question. Or maybe there's something you've always wondered about? Now's the time to get it off your chest. Send those Q's to gamedoctor@j2games.com and I'll get you the A's -- and maybe even that special Prize Packet. Game on! --Bill "The Game Doctor" Kunkel"
