I just kinda-noticed that Rayman is rarely mentioned on these boards, which is somewhat surprising to me (I've heard Ultra Vortek mentioned more often). This was one of few Jag "exclusive" (at the time anyway) games. Even further, it was one of the VERY few Jag games to get universal critical acclaim, and rightfully so. Rayman is both beautiful to look at and fantastic to play. So what's the deal? Why isn't there more talk about one of the best games on the system (a killer app, if you will)?

Any chance we can get pics of the cart/box/manual? (I currently don't have any money but would like something to salivate over.)

I just wanted to ask a few things about how "smooth" these games run. Up until a few days ago, I had been playing Tempest 2000 on my computer using the Project Tempest emulator. I just received my first/only copy of T2000 for the Jaguar a few days ago, and was somewhat surprised at how "less smooth" the game ran as compared to its Project Tempest counterpart. I thought it might have been my Jag, or the cart (don't know how), but I figured I'd ask anyway. During the title screen of Tempest 2000, when playing on a Jaguar, is it really really slow? On the computer, you can see the effect of the text "radiating", but on my Jag, it sputters and barely goes at all. The gameplay is fine as far as I can see, although it chokes up every now and then when the screen gets cluttered. Also, I just got Flip Out on the same day, and saw that the "load time" between stages was noticeable. Is this my Jag / cart? Or is this to be expected? Thanks fellow JagFans!

I was wondering if anybody knew of any differences (gameplay/graphics/extras) between the Saturn and Jaguar versions of Tempest 2000? Was this ported to the Saturn after the Jaguar's demise, and if so, was there any quality lost in the translation? Thanks!

I recently got my first Jag, and both of these games are on my high-priorities list. I'll eventually get both, but I was wondering if you guys could compare/contrast these 2 games, and recommend which to get first? Thanks!
