My first gaming in a while, in the company of a diminutive entity who is beginning to understand and appreciate these things: Jakks Plug & Play TV Games Disney 5 in 1: Donald’s Golf Tournament - 5 min. Lilo & Stitch: Stitch's Search for Paradise - 30 min.

My times for the week: Intellivision: Frog Bog - 3 min. Stampede - 2 min. Genesis: Family Feud - 15 min.

Yeah, it's kind of like keeping a gaming journal, and can lead to some interesting insights. It's amazing how weird my sense of time can be -- I find out a game I thought I played a year or two ago, I actually beat a decade ago. (And once in a while, the opposite happens!) Just the other day I thought I remembered that it took me 6+ hours to beat a game in a single sitting -- but nope, it was only about 4. Is that important? Dunno, but it was interesting to me.

Congratulations! I didn't make a new post for it but I did update the first post a little while ago. Really pleased to see you reach the finish line with the PCE/SFC-specific part of the project.

My times for the week: Intellivision: Frog Bog - 14 min. Ms. Pac-Man - 10 min. NASL Soccer - 30 min. Shark! Shark! - 8 min. Skiing - 3 min. Space "Cant" - 1 min. Stampede - 6 min.

All I could find is this video, but the comments seem to suggest it's a fake: Certainly "Part 69" -- with no Parts 1-68 on the channel, and only one other video from this uploader at all -- raises a red flag.

I've got some Odyssey² games I'd like to pick up as well, and I'd potentially be interested in loose 5200 carts (even commons, since right now I only have one game for the system!).

My times for the week: NES: Star Voyager - 149 min. Nintendo 64: PD Ultraman Battle Collection 64 - 14 min. Knife Edge Nose Gunner - 22 min. Just a handful of failed runs in Star Voyager, really.

No gameplay time for me this week. I did play a bit after midnight but I'll count that in 2024!

One thing I'm trying to remember is how I was serving aces (something that often marks a sea change when playing any tennis game -- free points are free points). I came to use a quick double-tap motion when serving, hitting the ball on the way up since it's easier than timing the descent, but I can't remember whether I tweaked that to hit aces or if I had to learn a more traditional timing. Also, I'm sure you know this, but remember that you have to win two matches to clear a level, and the second is one tier up in difficulty except for Level 5. If you're playing two matches on Level 4 and almost winning the second, you'll soon have what you need to clear Level 5!
