  1. Freefall 3050 A.D. is only on the Nuon tho. I need to try that one again and see if I can controller the player. I don't remember it working at all with my HPI warrior and I think needs the rotating stick of the N64 style controllers
  2. I have mine connected with components since the Nuon also accepts component cables. Tried it on a nice CRT and on an LCD TV and it always came out looking fuzzy and blurry. I honestly prefer Tempest 2000 on the Jag or Tempest 4000 on the VCS or Switch.
  3. Nah man all is good! It plays, I just prefer to play on original hardware and use the GD for the most part but with most demos I don't need an mrq since they arent a completed project, but this one looks pretty solid so I thought a nice mrq would help it look cool when searching my folders. This way if there is ever a final version ill already hwvr the nrq to rename to go with the final rom. I just suck at making them!
  4. Same reason anyone wants an mrq, so it looks nice on the GD. There's a bunch of comments with regards to it working on a skunk (which I also have) or those that aren't actual Jag owners and could be but are using BigPEMU and don't need it. But for those with the GD it's awesome to have a nice mrq to go with it
  5. Hey this is fun, I like the cartoony ship added to the Asteroids game. I know it is a WIP, the one thing I didn't like was that it auto-reverts back to the ship facing upwards if you let go of the directional D-pad so then you have to hit it again to aim towards the rocks but also it causes the ship to go into that direction as well if that makes sense. But it looks sweet so far!
  6. This update is awesome! More levels, new enemies, level counter on top is different, it is faster it seems, and now there is that yellow bar on the top right to allow you to turbo/speed or whatever. Awesome! Since I suck, anyone able to make an mrq for those of us still using the GD?

Top notch and fun for a demo! I am always down for Dr. Typo releases, great job man!

There was a combo cart that was going to have this, Classic Kong, and another game I keep forgetting the name on. Now that we are into 2024, is this one still headed out on a combo cart?
  9. I've got a Samsung Nuon and then an original controller (thank god) but its an HPI Warrior which looks like a battarang and doesn't the thumbstick like the HPI Stealth or what the N64 would do with the adapter as the N64 controllers have that thumbstick. I want to say tho you can basically play all of the games except for Freefall 3050AD that's the only one that needs to have that stick to actually be able to move and play. I've tried Freefall with the Warrior controller and it doesn't move at all so I feel it needs that stick. The think I like the least about the Nuon is there was never a memory card made for it, so you can't save any high scores on Tempest 3000 or progress on any of the other games. That's something I wouldn't mind seeing be made. With regards to Tempest 3000, I didn't think it was all too great, it was very blurry and not crisp like Tempest 2000, then the lack of high score savings was the other killer.
  10. Could a Jag even pull that off? Looks more like PS1 graphics or upwards of Dreamcast texture mapping
  11. I didnt know where to ask on this, but I was playing ZOOP over the weekend and thought that would be a game for another contest down the line! Probably already done but to see scores of others would be nice
  12. Yeah that game is hard, same with Braindead 13. I watched videos of it working for people and I just cant get those timing clicks down.
  13. I cannot find the picture I was thinking of to save my life and I know I had saved it. I could swear it was a white pearl and a deep blue pearl similar to the header on the AA pages here. But it could have just been a different angle/lighting of this particular one I found here. There was a post maybe in 2018 or so that this was on Ebay for I want to say $80 or something but I thought it was kind of ugly at the time. But this may have been what I was thinking of with the white/blue pearl, tho its more of a white and teal/blue in a way. in the picture I couldnt find anymore it was a top down view and maybe the lighting made it look darker. But this was the dental shells they called IMAGIN and then in this pic just below it you can see a clear shell as well
  14. At the time when I got mine in about 1995 my family couldnt afford an N64 as they were like $200 and the N64 carts were super pricey at the time some over $70+ for the carts. I loved Kaybee Toys and went in and got mine for $29.99 and still have it and the sticker on the box. Loved that I could get games for $5 too. So my grandma drove me around to every Kaybee Toys we could find to get the games I didnt have already since I was only 11 at the time. Found a few at random used game stores at the time too. I kept it all plugged in through high school and my friends seemed to enjoy playing Pinball Fantasies all the time on it, that game got the most play at the time shooting for high scores. Boxed it all up when I went to college and stored it at my parents house. When I bought my first house in 2013 my mom brought all my old games and collections to me to put in my house.
