  1. What about cost, I am interested in a memory upgrade for an 800XL?

  3. I hope someone can explain this to me. When I connected the keyboard the audio returned. I disconnected the keyboard and the audio stayed.
  4. Has there been any improvement in the shipping situation. I would like to get a memory expansion for the 800XL.
  5. I have an 800XL that has no audio except for key clicks. I may have caused the problem because I did the SuperVideo 2.1 upgrade. After I finished the upgrade and tested it, I first thought it wasn't booting properly because I wasn't hearing the sound that usually occurs when it boots. I saw the ready prompt but I thought something was wrong in the boot process. After more troubleshooting, I determined that the boot was OK and I just didn't have audio. I tried a different POKEY and that wasn't the problem. Which components provide audio?
  6. 83S DA000588 113 I have it for sale on ebay.
  7. I don't mind using a battery screwdriver to remove the screws but I would never use one to put the screws back in.
  8. I believe I found a mistake on the list, there is a number listed as 83S DA 019474 093 and there is one listed on eBay that is 83S DA 019474 083
  9. I just picked this one up on eBay. I can't read the stamped number after the serial number; it appears to end in 3 but that is a given.1200XL Label A1200XL Label A
  10. I jumpered every contact on the MB that appeared to be damaged and the drive is working. Now I have something that I have to keep close to home. It is something akin to one of the old 1960s cars that I owned; I could start it and operate it with no problems but someone not familiar with it's quirks would likely get stranded somewhere.
  11. I will contact him, I would be willing to purchase a bare MB, but I don't want to purchase the whole drive.
  12. I badged it as an XL1035, sold it on eBay, and it was destroyed during shipping. It was heavily wrapped in bubblewrap and surrounded by styrofoam panels. It appears to have been dropped on one end or one end was slammed into something that didn't move. The rear panel was cracked and the rear of the motherboard was damaged. Since I don't have a spare MB, it is probably beyond restoration.

  14. I have partially disassembled my 804, and DS1(1-8) switches are easily seen, where are the second set of dip switches (DS2 (1-4)?
