Thanks all. I must have found the details the first time I played with the drive when testing it. This time I just looked at the manual that came with it. While it did have the example in caps, it never mentioned anything about it needing to be in caps so it just looked like they were only trying to make the command stand out.

Hi All, New to this particular forum. Anyway, to the point. I managed to get my hands on a tape drive for my TI. I had no tapes at the time to use with it but I remember doing a small basic programme and saving/loading it as a test. Now I have managed to get a few things on tape for the TI, I went to use the drive BUT as soon as I hit enter after typing in old cs1, I get the following error: Warning: Check program in memory I/O error 50 The posts I have found in regards to this error show it seems to usually affect people after they start loading not as soon as they issue the command. Was hoping someone could throw some ideas of things I can try to deal with this error. I also tried a save and got an error as soon as I hit enter as well. Thanks
