  1. Hello Retro Fans, I've been collecting old systems for a while now (both computer and console) and have restored most of them in both functionality and appearance. (De-yellowing, buffing out scratches, etc.) But one challenge I have had poor luck with is restoring the brushed aluminum on the various panels used in old consoles. The pattern of damage for at least four of the consoles (RCA Studio II, Atari 5200, Atari 7800 and TI99/4A) are these black lines that look like cracks which I assume to be oxidized aluminum. I've tried different metal polishes to no effect. Does anyone have an suggestions? I've not been able to find any good data on how to do this. Thanks. Cheers, Jeff
  2. Matthew, I appreciate that you're putting so much thought and fine tuning into the MK2. When they're finally ready, please put me on your list of customers for one unit Thank you!
  3. Hello SainT, I've been following your progress for a long time now and am simply amazed at the accomplishments you've made with this little underrated handheld. The fact that you continue to support your growing user base is also admirable. Please add me to your queue of persons interested in purchasing your amazing Lynx flash card. Cheers, G4meB0y

Certainly. I PM'ed him on the 10th of February and heard back on the 11th of May, so in my case at least it was just about exactly 3 months. He did however express that he is quite busy so I'd expect that time to drift. Also, I too suffer from laggy Bad Apple, but its not merely stuttering but a full three seconds of frozen video while audio continues, leading to a desynchonized remainder. I have an unmodded Vectrex, and most of the demo works perfectly with excellent audio (relatively), is just out of sync. Has anyone found a workaround to this issue that doesn't involve replacing the flash chip with a faster variant? Cheers

I assure you he is replying to PMs, but there is a lag. Patience is a virtue, and the VecFever is worth it! (It took about three months or so for my PM to catch up to him.)

This sounds phenomenal! I've been a fan of the Vectrex since childhood, but never owned one until recently. Now that I have one I am eager to do some dev work and this cart sounds like the perfect tool. Not sure where the pre-order bandwagon started, but I'll happily jump on! I'll take x1 as well. Cheers!
