Thanks for the controller recommendations. Are either of those also good for use with Tempest X3? I just picked that game up and wouldn't mind some kind of spinner.

Love the video Metal Jesus! Glad to see Disney's Guilty Party in your pile in the final shots, that game is awesome.

I'd recommend Boom Blox or its sequel, fantastic games!

Sorry folks I have no idea where I even found the link from. It was a Kotaku article but other than reposting their link I wouldn't know where to start for getting in touch with the developers.

Interesting. Let me know if it works with Tempest X3, looks like a good match.

I'm curious to hear more about the discussion you had about the game :D

For truly outstanding Star Wars space battles, look no further than the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games on Mac/PC.

Well I agree the game play is not the title's strong suit however graphically Star Wars is an amazing accomplishment on a home console. Emehr's recommendation of X-Wing is spot on to my chat with my pal. The floppy disk version came out a year before the 32X game and if you look at the graphics they are surprisingly similar. Oh sure, the 32X runs a little choppier than X Wing (assuming you were running a decent PC for X Wing back in the day ... I wasn't) but the details on the ships were actually better on the 32X game.

I guess akator's right, it's trendy for people to bash on early 3d graphics, my buddy was doing so.
