Picture it - a cool Christmas Eve morning a few years back, light snow falling. I'm walking my dog and a few houses up on my block I spot a milk crate on the curb, with a 6-switch 2600, cartridge case full of games, joysticks & paddles. I look to me left, look to my right, all quiet - then hear the voice of my older neighbor, out on the porch having a smoke. "Works! Take it. "
We spent Christmas Eve hunting down an adequate power supply, and had a great time playing all the games on Christmas Day with my siblings and in laws, all born during the 70s.
Going through this forum I've been curious as to where this particular console was manufactured. The sticker is missing on the back- the only clue I have is a stamped number into the under casing which seems to be in a spot that is common with Sunnyvale-made light sixers.
Can anyone help identify / verify?
