  1. Also, it's only doing it when it's in color... When I flick it to black and white, the picture is fine...
  2. Okay, I actually managed to fix the stereo mod (One of my soldered on wires fell off. whoops...) and I breadboarded the 2nd video mod. I put it on my atari and it looked great... I went ahead and put it on a circut board, made sure it followed the schematic correctly, and ridded of any shorts (by running a knife through between circuit leads while the solder was heated up. It's easier to do then to say) and now for some reason, my screen is flipping like crazy. It didn't do it for the breadboard and I'm absolutly confused... I've been testing it with combat and when the background colors changed (before pressing reset) the screen became straight... Then when I pressed reset, it started flipping again... gah. *need help*
  3. Hi. I'm a bit of an atari noob (got one for christmas, my 2nd atari. The other one broke) and I need a bit of help. The secend I got my atari, I hooked it up and I was annoyed by the fact that the sound was scratchy and the picture was bleeding like crazy, so I decided to do a mod... I have one of the all black plain ataris, and I figured I'd start by doing the stereo mod (http://www.doomportables.org/2600.html). I first noticed that the stella chip was soldered to the board (opposed to what the site said). I just ignored that fact and just built the circuit and soldered it onto the board. Now I'm not getting any sound from the RF Modulator nor the stereo that I had it hooked up to... I maybe some ideas? Also, I would like to know about Raiku's video mod (http://home.earthlink.net/~awbrown/atari2600vidmod.htm) and if it's any good (I'd probably want the 2nd one, cos I care more about color...). Thanks
