  1. I compiled it with CVBasic and gsm80 and had to strip the vgm music to keep it under 32 kb. It had a nesting error on line 320 of the .bas code. The CV binary without the music is about 22 kb.
  2. Yes, many of us don't use Facebook or other social media sites. So, it would be a shame if opcode or other very talented people stop posting in these forums. You have a very legitimate way to reach even more customers by posting here as well.
  3. Third recommendation for ColEm. I even got it compiled under MS-DOS, and it runs SGM games perfectly well, and even has a cheat menu (memory search). With SBEmu, you even get genuine Coleco sound on new systems in bare metal DOS.
  4. Really neat! Thank you so much. Love the images. Tarot on the CV. Now let the heavens and the fates align to bring us all spectacular Coleco games in 2024 and beyond.
  5. That's very interesting. I'm aware of other SGM games which have been released and use the extra memory and capabilities (sound chip, extra RAM, and memory banking in the cartridge of up to 512k), such as Mecca8, Mecca9, Dragon's Lair, etc, and they do run in emulators which support the SGM. Don't worry, I'm definitely going to be purchasing Time Pilot, but I thought the "super game cartridge" is in fact emulatable, or perhaps I'm confused on the technical issues involved.
  6. Yes, that level 8 is insane. Is TIME PILOT going to be available for purchase in .rom format for use with our favorite emulators as well? One of my favorite games of all time, and the portability aspect of playing the .rom on the road will make this so much better!
  7. So neat! And talented at 12. Thanks so much for sharing.
  8. Thanks for offering to post the video at difficulty 8. This is outstanding work in getting it speed-accurate with the arcade.
  9. This new version seems seriously sped-up compared to the (Coleco) 1982 verision. Does it in fact run at the exact same speed as the arcade version. It greatly increases the challenge of the game. Will you please post a video at Difficulty 8? That's got to be some serious mayhem. I'd like to get an idea.
  10. That's why he's such a genius now - he started early indeed with programming. This is a neat little lost project. I love when 30+ year-old code is thought lost, rediscovered, and generously put out in the wild. It's like the gift that keeps on giving. We know there are more nuggets out there by others, just waiting for (re)discovery.
  11. Love it! Thanks so much for the fun game. A very generous and appreciated gift. It's quite addictive.
  12. Great progress. Things I liked: - Level design and especially the top "prehistoric" look - the fluidity of motion - precise response. And very smooth transitions in movement - That Tim moves fast Suggestions: - Perhaps make Tim not jump as high. His head "touches" the top of the next level. Lower it to a couple of pixels below the very top. - I presume the colors of the levels will match the original (level 0,1,2 = red, 3,4,5 = blue, 6,7,8 = green, 9 = purple / night time) Thanks for posting your latest demo.
  13. Many thanks for these (final) yearly golden nuggets. Thanks to your generosity throughout the years, we have a wonderful treasure trove of quality homebrews for all to enjoy and relish! Merry Christmas, and the best 2024 imaginable. It is in this spirt, that I fervently hope others you've mentioned above may be so generous in sharing and releasing some of their games in .rom format for all to enjoy as gifts...
  14. Of course! I can wait patiently. This is going to be fabulous.
