@jedimatt42 It has been a while since i've seen a update available for tipi. Would i be correct in assuming that aside from fixing possible bugs and/or supporting newer Pi models, you don't really intend to update the Pi side software of tipi anytime soon? Honestly, tipi has pretty much everything i could ask for from a user standpoint, so i'd totally get it if you are "done" with it for a while.

If they want tips, figure out how to make dlc and games "pay what you want". I.E. you can't download it for free (unless explicitly listed as free to start with), but can pay as little as what ever base dollar price is set by the devs. If you want, you can come back and give more later. Kind of like how Itch.io is for some games.

Personally I'd get the tipi first. There is a combo unit that is memory (32k) plus the tipi in one unit, all housed in a speech synthesizer styled shell. Get that and then get the finalgrom.

That solder joint looks pretty buggered up to me too. My Nanopeb is boxed up in storage right now, but i'm pretty sure that bodge-wire is not suppose to be there. 👇 Who ever had this Nanopeb before you got it has probably tried to fix something on it, or its some sort of mod for the Nanopeb that i'm unfamiliar with.
