  1. Thank you very much! Tonight i'll heat up the soldering iron ... Hope I can bring my dead XL back to life with this circuit. He has an broken delay line. I checked it with a working delay line from one of my other XL's.
  2. Possible, sorry if so. Don´t looked before to the file size in post #3 to compare if is the same.
  3. Can someone tell me where the outputs pins 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 of the 74LS14 in this circuit must be connected to the empty delay line socket on the XL-Board?
  4. Here is a U1MB patched version, joystick works. If present you have to disable Stereo Pokey, else sound is broken. Bounty Bob Strikes Back! U1MB patched.xex
  5. Thank You very much! Will try today after work to burn some Eproms.
  6. Hi Mr. Fish, do you have more SXEGS gameroms? Or perhaps a link from where i can download such stuff?
  7. Thank you for detailed answer. Now i can boot all my 1050's without to change every time the ID switches. The switches live longer and every drive is used from time to time so that the drive belts do not make at the motor position a curve peak.
  8. Hi Bob, i was hoping that there would be an simple OS-patch solution. I have already installed an OS switch and i don´t want to drill more holes in my XL. @xxl I burned QMEG in OS-eprom so that the 4th position of the os switch does not remain empty. I have QMEG not used it yet because I am not familiar with it. Now I started an experiment with QMEG and I was able to change the boot drive with SHIFT-2/3/4, great. But on cold boot (SHIFT-RESET) QMEG settings change to default. I thank you both for the informations, I've become a little smarter again! (sorry for my bad english) DQ
  9. Hi together, knows anybody if exists an OS Patch for 800XL to change temporary the default bootdrive from D1 to D2 or D3 and so on (for example by pressing 1, 2 or 3 on keyboard while turning power on)? It´s a little bit uncomfortable to change every time the drive ID´s of my 1050´s or XF551 to try out if a disk boots correctly on this drive. Thanks, DQ
  10. Hi Jon, your Combo Plugin works wonderful!!! I´m very happy ? Enable/disable VGate on Sophia works, reset on Multicartridge (Atarimax 8Mbit) works, S0 is available. You are great! I´m very grateful for that. Respect. Hope other guys with U1MB and Sopia on XL/XE find this thread. Thank You very much! (Look at your PayPal donation)
  11. Hi Jon, thank you very much for this plugin. It works fine under real PAL 800XL with Sophia DVI Rev.C @1600x900 ? The vertical artefacts at the right side of the screen disappear after enable plugin function in U1MB and appear again by disabling it. Very good! I observed that in U1MB disappears under [Device Control] the "Device 3 (S0):" entry after flashing vGate plugin. I think it is not necessary to remove this, because Sophia don´t need the S0 control line from U1MB. So S0 can remain available for other things. Only if you use the real VGATE Board it is logic to remove it, or i´m wrong? Maybe you can rename the menu entry "GTIA V-Gate:" to "SOPHIA V-Gate" and let the S0 entry remain in [Device control]? Just one more question - on U1MB plugin section can only one plugin be installed, right? I noticed that the "Multicartridge reset" plugin disappears from U1MB menu after flashing the vGate plugin. A bit of pity as the cartridge-reset plugin is very useful for example in combination with Sophia and Maxflash cartridges. Maybe my 800XL´s can live a little bit longer without constantly turning power off and on. Is it an heavy work to combine both plugins in one, so that you have both functions, "Sophia-VGate" and "Multicartridge reset" available in U1MB menu? (sorry for my bad english, i´m from Germany)
  12. Hi, has somebody an VGate Plugin for the actual U1MB Firmware 3.02? Have an 800XL (PAL) with U1MB, Stereo and Sophia DVI Rev.C @1600x900. I want to get rid of the ugly vertical artefacts on the right side of the image.
  13. Hi Wrathchild, thats it. Bbfix4.zip from your link works fine with 8Mbit Cart and U1MB-800XL! Thank you very much! Best regards, DQ
  14. Yes, it´s a new cart. So what to do now? How can i change the old flashloader?
