The 20th season the Inty HSC will be a Blasting Shooters Extra-ordinaire... The season will be comprised of nothing but shooting games... There will be no bonus games, but there will be 20 shooting games lasting 20 weeks. The season will start on New Years Day 2025 and end June 1st, 2025.... I will be incorporating some homebrew games as well. The homebrew games will be chosen from AA or they will be free somewhere else, but whatever I use I will provide a rom for.... Time for me to start planning the fireworks for Inty HSC season 20.... and yes Matt @IntyFanMatt Worm Whomper will definitely be one of the games, so will Space Armada....

I tried to play Bomb Squad lastnight using the original 2609 with those awful old controllers and I was miserable... I've been playing on my Inty II with Flashback controllers for 2 years now. I have basically ruined myself for the 2609. I find the controllers on the 2609 to be clunky and unresponsive. I went back to my bread and butter lastnight and played much better.... The flashback controllers are not only easier to use, but the longer cord gives you some leeway. You don't have to sit right on top of the console. 👍

Due to the rank participation of late I won't be able to do a Homebrew HSC for the Inty. That would prove to be even worse as most people won't have the games or the ability to download them and play them. I will put together a 20th season for the Inty HSC. This will occur either in the Fall of 2024 or the Winter of 2025 (I haven't decided yet). After that I will take a break from moderating the Inty HSC and see if someone else can take over the reigns. Maybe someone else can get this club off life support? 🤷‍♂️🥺
