  1. i dont understand, if the game is available then why all this effort to get the data off of it? sounds like a lost cause at this point if the chip is damaged. might be best to just right it off
  2. Currently the only option is to cannibalize a common 7800 32K cartridge, swapping the ROM with an EPROM with an inverter between A15 and ~OE. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Joe Grand of Pixels Past and Albert have something on the drawing board. (Although a donor cart may still be required for the plastic housing.) 854584[/snapback] what kind of eprom are you using for these?
  3. how does one make a cart for the 7800? i would guess it is similar to making a 2600 one. is there a document or website about how to do this?
  4. I wired it up the right way now but when I try to read a cart my programmer says it is not connected to the socket properly. if I try to read it with no cart in the port it doesn't see a problem with it. I am trying to use only 4k games like pacman and defender as i know it won't work with larger games.
  5. i tried to make a cart dumper adapter using a catridge port from an old junk system. I wired it up like a 2732 like a previous poster said but it didn't work. I am probably overlooking something simple. the pinout on a cart edge connector, if you are lookig at it from the edge connector end with the label up, the top connectors are 13-24 from right to left, and the bottom would be 12-1, correct? i wired the port connector to a empty socket. I also found a differnt pin out for a 2732 here at this site-http://www.embeddedlinks.com/chipdir/pinusr/2732.txt. Which is correct or what am I doing wrong? does some one have any pictures of one that they made?
  6. Does anyone know if games like Atlantis and Touch Down Football work with the new version?
  7. Thanks for the help. Emulators are good but not perfect. It is always nice to play on a real system sometimes.
  8. are there any pictures here of the first 2600 box from 1977 I believe? All I saw here are game boxes.
  9. I heard it was possible to do this. I seen a few different ones online and was wondering what the best one was. I think if you want to convert a floppy you have to make it an "atr" but can you convert it back to the original if you wanted to make new floppys?
