  1. The game would of been passable....if it came out 6 years ago.
  2. These threads always inevitably end making me sad. Some of you guys really need to lighten up...
  3. New DLC looks good, too bad I will have to wait for the PC version.
  4. Considering how long Elite 4 has been in development now, I have serious reservations about this release ever seeing the light of day.
  5. Seriously? I remember a number of years ago when I inquired about his prices and they were nowhere remotely near that. Honestly as nice as that handheld is, its way too damn expensive.
  6. Honestly the Sc1 vs Sc2 player things is a little contentious as while I know a lot of the hardcore pro players/tournaments stuck with 1 there are a rather large number of pro players & tourneys etc for 2. This also isn't really taking into account the less serious players. To go back to the meat of my previous post all this arguing is really just pissing in the wind now as it won't make much of a difference at the end of the day. Play 1 or 2 whatevs.

You know you want pie and you know you want me to give it to you

  8. At the risk of being a pedantic bore I've already mentioned a few.
  9. If I may touch upon a point referenced beforehand I was curious as to the number of current Starcraft players vs. Starcraft 2 players so I did a little digging and I came up with these: Starcraft 2: 3,669,507 Europe: 1,113,475 Americas: 1,316,282 Korea / Taiwan: 769,903 China: 322,343 Southeast Asia: 147,504 I couldn't come up with with concrete numbers for 1 but evidence seems to indicate it would be around same as it seems a lot of SK progamers etc etc. are sticking with it. Unfortunately Singleplayer has not been the primary bread and butter for Blizzard in a long time. The popularity of games such as Diablo etc were driven by their Multiplayer and after the gigantic hacking shitstorms(Which atleast in the case of Diablo 2 stemmed from the offline portion) that occurred sometime after singleplayer interest faded in several of their games and sad as it is Blizzard sought to safeguard their primary interest at the expense of SP playability in new games to avert this because as mentioned prior multiplayer tends to be the driving force. There isn't much of a point going beyond that at this point because I seriously doubt anyones mind will be changed coming into this as people who play do so while those who don't simply don't and as numbers indicate that Blizzard won't be running into serious trouble soon so discussion at this point is picking nits etc. Truth be told solely focusing on the SP of this game would prolly be a waste until a GoTY release as the campaign is pretty meh.
  10. As sad as it is to see it go I have to agree with this.
  11. You have got to be fucking kidding me. There are just so many things wrong with this. Of course your not fucking satisfied but big surprise with that. So here let me show you something else from Blizzards site: http://us.blizzard.c...SPEC&rhtml=true You see that? Right there in the requirements? The part where it says a Broadband Internet connection is a minimum system requirement. Or here: http://us.blizzard.c...l?id=1100001122 Where it states directly under the box shot "Internet connection required". That's it nothing about requiring it for verification and what's on the box is on damn box whether you like it or not. Also since you conveniently ignored this in your last post let me reiterate once again: You do not need to go online if you are using a guest account and if using said guest account you do not need to re-login every month. Finally well you hit the conclusion I was trying to make then completely missed my point. No shit it isn't official solution but it is a solution and I felt it worthwhile to point out as a working alternative when I initially posted the link you ignored. Sorry for the language everyone...
  12. I always enjoyed Burnout 3. For me Paradise had way too much mediocre busy-work.
  13. I have the box directly in front of me right now and it states: INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED PLAYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL APPLICABLE INTERNET FEES BATTLE.NET REGISTRATION REQUIRED This is literally what it states on the front and back. Like I previously stated Blizzard seems to indicate that you do not need to re-login monthly if guest mode is used. It's a lame alternative but I've never had to re-login with this. This website also clearly indicates as much http://starcraft2how.../play-offline/. This was the method in my second post that you completely ignored: http://sc2.nibbits.com/assets/starcrack-allin1/
  14. 1. All that the box states is "Internet Connection Required". 2. While information is conflicting upon this point Blizzard seems to indicate while if using an actual account offline you do need to log in monthly this is not the case on guest mode past the point when it verifies that the copy is legit. 3. Did either of you two even bother with my second point? This method is perfectly legit and not that hard to use.
