    I played my first game system, an original pong units in the early 80s and got my parents 2600 4 switch 2600 when I was about 12. That sparked my interest in video games and I was an addicted youth. Systems I have owned over the years include: NES, SNES, Game boy Color, GBA, DS, 3DS, Virtuaboy, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, 32X, SegaCD, PlayStation 1&2, Atari Jaguar/CD, Commodore Vic 20 and 64 and various other ones.

    Got a 2600 for Christmas '18 with Harmony cart and I'm enjoying the homebrew scene and the classics.
  • Playing Next
    Looking to get maybe a 7800 in the near future.

    I checked via my nextcloud app freaking out that I'd have to fix whatever happened to the folder structure.

    For some reason I can access roms past a certain point, just downloaded the new firmware it notified me of. I was looking for tutankham, I also looked at games by alphabet and it's cut off at like 5 company names.

    Pretty neat idea, I may get one. Only problem is now my AtariVox would be weird dangling out the front of my system.

    I would say infinite, the 2600 isn't constrained like that. I would think space would be a limit before anything. How big of a rom can we load? Theoretically up to 512k maybe? I know we do 64k currently. Each room could be randomly generated to save space and each room could be mere bytes. I don't think this type of measurement was would be accurate for this old girl.

    I've played the game with a mouse, but I use aTheC64 and a USB mouse.

    Anytime I see a game that's uncompiled I makes me sad. I can't post it to PlusCart yet 😁

    Owning a PS2 that's got freemcboot, hard drive etc, I think it's cool although not practical. There's so many other ways to play mp3s and audio files to feed a supercharger than using another game system. If you figure it out I may try it out S see how it works, till then my portable CD player or cell works good enough.

    Harmony should run everything except for Champ games Turbo and Elevator Agent, maybe the new ACE demos on PlusCart. Maybe games that are 64k like Penult. Someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
