  1. I've been wondering about emulation possibilities. Seeing that Atari is definitely supporting this console, is there any chance other Atari 2600hardware could be emulated? Savekey and on board Atarivox implementation would be killer.
  2. I sold mine for 400 with boxed Sydney. It sold in 5 minutes. Ask at least 6. People are hungry. I kinda felt like you, I didn't have any problems but I still used my Colecovision and emulation the most so it had to go. The development side was disappointing. Hopefully they get it going again but honestly, emulation is so close to perfect on these simple computers that fpga is way too much of an expense for little to no benefit. Sometimes even worse results.
  3. Dang! I was just looking at Bounty Bob! I'm too slow!
  4. I read there is an end and I think it's at 9999 points. I'd like to try to go for it but I'm discovering It will take me a long time to figure that much game out. I'm almost sure I could never do it.
  5. Sorry I didn't see this question. The main game is a set puzzle. Every piece has a place and the player has to discover the best/correct way to get through the changing landscape. Leaps, grabs and hangs. It is easy to go the wrong way for awhile and not really knowing exactly where or if you're doing it wrong. It has a Tetris vibe. It takes some persistence to tackle the tower. But it feels great to make it through a tough part. I fully recommend it to anyone into puzzle games.
  6. I might try a pad because it does seem like it would be beneficial. I'm using a Colecovision controller, as I like it and have become precise with it... as long as it holds up. It creaks and moans but keeps on going. I like the cv controller for maze games but not for games that require much button mashing.
  7. Thanks! I appreciate the comment on my YouTube channel also. I beat my score tonight but not by much. I know what to do now so I feel satisfied. 😌
  8. I posted the entire run https://youtu.be/sd7iSk_mtxU
  9. You can select pro mode which is random. I like having to find the correct path though. It doesn't come through in video though. I have the first 370 blocks memorized so far.
  10. Well, honestly it was frustrating but it did occupy my mind and I needed something 😌 This was good medicine even if I did have a few fits. Hope everyone has time for Atari this weekend. 🙏 It can bring happiness 😊
  11. Since yesterday I've been fascinated with Tower of Rubble. Tonight I got a few hours to play. I don't usually get obsessed like I did as a child but I was sucked in. I feel I'm perhaps this was made for me lol. It's helping me center my thoughts. I had put a target of 500 as my goal but didn't expect the game to become so devilishly clever! The puzzle is so well made! I can't believe the routine fits on a cartridge!!! I love it!
  12. I've been making fantasy Pookie Cong Jr levels for about a week and I'm finding it very relaxing. I like to imagine new ways of playing and borrowing many aspects. I have a number of other levels made but not adapted to the 7800 graphics. I have much of the fun bits in my head. Pookie is headed for trouble! If Pookie doesn't stop Markio from filling his house with love, poor Dookie Cong will be forgotten and sink under! Oh no! Level 2 has Pookie inserting keys in a certain order. I think a green lock would better. It could make a neat sound every time it changed. The order would be harder on later levels. The "POW" works similar to the Pac-Man power pellet. The creatures slow down and can be caught for multiplier points. (400) (800) (1200) (etc) I like thinking of these designs but then I can't stop. An idea leads to the next board and then I have to do another. It's still fun. Hope soneone digs...
  13. Woohoo! April is going to be a high point in my Colecovision year! Also eyeing Suite Macabre with great anticipation! Thanks for all the work you guys put into our hobby. It really adds joy in my life.
