  1. Perhaps you can make the object of the game to capture as many Pumpkin Castle flags before you die and count them as a score.
  2. Sweet! I always look forward to playing the Halloween games!
  3. I was so pumped when Tommy T. announced the rebirth of the Intellivision. Now that it appears that nothing is going to happen, and he sold some of the games to Atari for financial help, wouldn't it make sense for him to try to sell the Intellivision rights to Atari, and let them pick up they where they left off? I would love to see another flashback release or another model (like the 2600+) for the Intellivision. But I don't see the Amico group ever doing that or happening unless someone like Atari could get their hands on the rights....
  4. I have always had the worst luck with the version 1 models. I have 3 of them that are dead. I've tried replacing components between them all, but they all do the same thing. Black screen when powered on. My Intellivision II is still kicking though...
  5. I've absolutely always loved this game! I love how both AD&D games are very random and you never know exactly how things are laid out from game to game. It keeps things fresh! I don't think I was ever able to complete the disc level (I don't seem to have 4 hours to sit and play a full game anymore but I keep trying 😁). I do remember my brother and a friend did it and how long it took! I think they spent about 5 hours playing it to win. The white crossbow was the key! Yesterday, I just managed to destroy the white door on the 2nd level for the first time in years but had to shut off the game to go somewhere! It was fun to zap through the walls again! I've seen where people have thought this was the most boring game of all time and I even had a friend who loved the Intellivision say the same about this game. I think you just have to keep playing it to get to the point of liking it.... I do think that with the games they have nowadays, is why it will never connect with the gamers today. The enemies would move today. It was a very unique game at its time though.
  6. You will want to rule out a broken wire connection first. Get a small electric meter (usually around 20 bucks) at Home Depot or Harbor Freight. And check the connection from the pins on the controller to the connection pin to the console. If they are good, then it will be something on the mylar sheet. Sometimes, those pins on the controller get pushed down and the pad that presses the mylar sheet is worn. That can cause headaches too. You may want to bend those pins up (gently) with a screwdriver and find a thick piece of tape like a (command hook) and place it over the connections. I also would recommend getting a conductive ink pen to draw some of the damaged circuitry. It may be noticeable after cleaning if they flake off.
  7. Thank you. I can't wait to give it try! Merry Christmas!
  8. I guess I'm a weirdo, but I used to love this game. I know that your disc needs to be in pretty good shape to play it. You need to have accurate shots into your target (to finish the field fast) and to shoot the enemies. I think they called them Nasties!!! If this disc is not in good shape, you'll struggle firing all over the place until you run out of power, or can't move away from an enemy.
  9. Thanks Oscar! I always look forward to the holiday games! Thank you for everything you do for the Intellivision community!
  10. It is news to me. But I also remember how close the starting point of Frogger was to Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. The way they ask the player and skill level numbers, were very similar.
  11. I totally understand. Myself, I don't think I have a problem with the cost of the homebrews (or 125 originals) as much as I have a problem that you'll pay a lot of money (for those games) for a 30-40 year old console, that might not power up tomorrow. Then I would get stuck with an expensive dust collector. ☹️
  12. I want to congratulate everyone for their hard work! I hope to be able to submit something by the next time they hold the contest!
