  1. The power flashed this morning.  Some of the clocks stayed set but others didn't.

Sounds pretty advanced for years ago.

One of my clocks has a battery back-up.  It won't show the time when the power is out but it keeps track of what time it is so when the  power

does come back on it shows the correct time.

I got it way back in the late 80's.

Not too advanced. When I was a kid I got a watch that read a radio signal to set itself. Both it and my more recent alarm picked up a dedicated radio signal at 60kHz from Ft Collins, Colorado. WWVB It's been running since the mid 50s. I use it in uC clocks that I make too.

Cool!   Fort Collins is about 48 miles from here...Driven past those antennae many a time I'll venture...At night they flash red.

  2. Atari 2600 Doggone It! - 35 minutes Juno First - 39 minutes Kaboom! - 69 minutes Meooow! 2 - 100 minutes
  3. @RogerpocoI thought I read that you have to press the fire button to activate the power ups. For some reason as soon as I touch the cat the powerup is activated without me touching the fire button.
  4. Turmoil: 69,200 Was going after a higher score and just made it to 46000 on level 3 and lost.
  5. It's cloudy here.  Same thing happened in elementary school when there was an eclipse.

Perhaps save up for a trip to Spain, North Africa, Middle East in the beginning of August, 2027?

We got about 80-90 seconds without clouds.  I saw it.  It was great.  The birds and insects totally reacted.  I had heard they would, but it was REALLY obvious.

Very cool.  Our universe is amazing.

  6. Atari 2600 Crossbow - 68 minutes Cross Force - 222 minutes Kaboom! - 15 minutes Red Sea Crossing - 44 minutes Solar Fox - 86 minutes I played one game of Solar Fox. I scored 7,487,400. Rack 1-255 and 1-98 My thumb kept slipping off the fire button. I lost 4 or 5 lives due to that at the end of my game. I know you can put it on difficulty A, but I am used to holding the fire button down to go fast.
  7. Looks fine to me. Good luck on the better score. I might try Crossbow again.
  8. I can't believe some telemarketer/fundraiser called at 9:08 am on a Saturday morning.
