    I'm in a Rodney Dangerfield mood today, RIP. Thought up more one liners he could use if he we're around today.  "My wife's cooking is so bad our kids go running around to the neighbors and beg for leftovers!"  "One time I had a piece of meat that I could't eat so I tossed it to the dog...he tossed it back!"   "Awhile back and I put my plate on the floor for the dog and he bit me!"

      What a doctor I’ve got—he’s really mixed up. Last week, he grabbed my knee and told me to cough. Then he hit me in the balls with a hammer.

      idk why but I feel like that's basically what's recently happening with some Atari 2600 games that never made it due to its initial 1992 discontinuation. This includes the latest Swordquest iirc.

    You mentioned it worked but "Got full defection back but have retrace lines and bright spot in center."

     

    No way it was just the brightness turned up, was it?

    Forgot about that. And if memory serves, doesn't it short out the power supply on the 5200 if someone tries it in an unmodified system?

    Wish someone would port this over to the Jaguar! Played it a lot on my old XP computer.

    Easy to repair. Haven't had one apart in years, just a little tricky taking it apart. Start with the 5 volt regulator and go from there. Any 2600 will make a great parts donor!

    I tried a couple converters before and didn't like the picture. But I found this Samsung dvd recorder that puts out a beautiful picture on the HDMI output. I run my 7800, 5200 & 2600 through it! No lag as long as the 3D enhancement is turned off! You can set the output all the way up to 1080p!
