  1. It is a video game setup like Running man movie, but you are doing it for money. The game is a two controller game Co-developed by Eugene Jarvis. Sorry for the long wait for a reply. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smash_TV
  2. If anyone is interested in a CRT television set and you are close to Cincinnati OH, I have 2 looking for a new home. They came out of a studio I do work at. 1, is a 20" flat front Sanyo with remote (DS20425; 2005) (it does have composite); 2, is a older Emerson 27"(EWC27T3; 2003) with built in DVD and VHS (it does have composite). They probably have till this time next week to be gone before they would go to recycling. Let me know. I am not looking for any thing for these.
  3. Saw this in the wild while looking for something else. https://www.ebth.com/items/6231294-atari-520st-with-monitor-manuals-and-other-accessories
  4. There are small structs. It is basically a copy of the original. I never thought of putting candy in that slot before (have to refill too often). I use this (the original coupler) quite often and have never experienced discomfort. There is some anti skid material on the bottom. I would just have it sit on a table surface, not trying to hold it. I would be afraid to make it much bigger for palm comfort. It now barely fits in a Makerbot. I will try working on it again next weekend.
  5. This has not been printed yet. I started this earlier today. I believe the measurements are correct for a controller but there are a few issues with the base and center section. (you can't see the problem directly. I saw it with the makerware software). The one on the right was the original that was copied to make the left holder. This was a first attempt. 6. This was my solution to Smash TV, velcro and a piece of pvc. Cords at your palm.

  8. I think I will have 4 to work with. I couldn't find a photo of the driving paddle mechanism. I will post some shots if it turns out good. The first one with be using a 5200 controller as the base; the second I will be looking for a housing so I can include a shift lever for Pole Position. Osgeld, Thanks for the paddle!
  9. I am wanting it/them for a 5200 mod. Two would be nice but one is fine. Tempest isn't the same without one. Thanks!
  10. Mine was acting up. Ended up being the power supply. New one from Best for $12.
  11. So this happened... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iGRN-Q8kKU https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/113891498/blinking-light-win-resurrecting-your-nes/description http://www.arcadeworks.net/hardware/blw.html I can see a possible flaw in how the end connector is supported. The end groove looks a little weak depending on how much force is needed. They are on the right track though. I would still get one.
  12. The service manual shows a tool made of a flat piece of metal with a 90' bend and a groove cut out of the end. Easy to make with a vise and hacksaw. You do have to use a bit of force but do it gradually. You will feel it starting to give. Make the bend end long enough for the bend to rest on the outer edge just past the ring for least amount of damage.
