  1. I recently played through Bionic Commando on the game boy. One of my favorite games. I think it's the best version of bionic commando anywhere
  2. I made the mistake of buying a clone console as a backup. It almost ate my starfox. The console is dead now but my starfox is ok
  3. Mr. Do (SNES) A highly underrated port that has a crazy fun a two player mode. Bombliss (SFC) A pretty good Tetris clone, but it's all puzzle challenges. Id like to have seen an endless mode like normal Tetris. Command and Conquer Generals (PC) A go-to time waster
  4. I forgot you asked for tv games also, Famicom tv games would be harder to list because alot are based on manga and anime shows
  5. Totally forgot the Kung Fu Spartan X connection. Also I know there's lots of homebrews and unreleased roms I didn't add
  6. Some games are hard to define, toxic crusaders is based on the cartoon and not the movie, do the Godzilla games count as movie based? It's not a comprehensive list but here's one that might help Movies made into NES/Famicom games (F) =Famicom A: Aces: Iron Eagle 3 (F) ultimate air combat - in title only Addams Family Akira (F) Alien 3 Attack of the Killer Tomatoes B: Back to the future Back to the future 2&3 Batman Batman Returns Beetlejuice Beyond the Pyramids: Legend of the White Lion (as Legend of the Ghost Lion) Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure Blues Brothers ? Cliffhanger Cool world ? Darkman Days of Thunder Dick Tracy Die Hard Dirty Harry Dracula E: Empire Strikes Back F: Flight of the Intruder Friday the 13th G: Ghostbusters Ghostbusters 2 New Ghostbusters 2 (F) Godzilla Goonies (F) Goonies 2 Gremlins 2 H: Home Alone Home Alone 2 Hook Hudson Hawk Hunt for Red October I: Indiana Jones last crusade-Taito Indiana Jones Last Crusade -Ubi Indiana Jones Temple of Doom J: Jaws Jungle book Jurassic park K: Karate Kid Kong Kong 2 (F) L: Last Action Hero Last Starfighter Lethal Weapon Little Mermaid Little Nemo: Dream Master M: Mad Max Mr Vampire (as Phantom Fighter) N: Nightmare on Elm Street P: Platoon Predator R: Rambo Robin Hood Prince of Thieves Robocop Robocop 2 Robocop 3 Rocketeer S: Star Wars -JVC Star Wars -Namco (F) Sweet Home (F) T Terminator Terminator 2 Top Gun Top Gun Second Mission Total Recall U: Untouchables W: Wayne’s World Who Framed Roger Rabbit Willow Wonderful World of Puss in Boots (as Puss in Boots: Pero’s Great Adventure )
  7. That would be a long list, there were some that were obscure or based on a movie but then changed names. Legend of the Ghost Lion was based on White Lion beyond the Pyramid (1989) and Phantom Fighter is based on the movie Mr. Vampire (1985) but they both have different names. Also there's several Famicom only games based on movies like Goonies and King Kong. It would take some research to compile a list
  8. With model 1 you could use the headphone jack to connect to a stereo system.
  9. The GB game was story driven and really captured some of the goofiness of the early James bond films
  10. Kickle Cubicle - Nes Excellent puzzler Empire City 1931 -Famicom I made my own cart using the Famicom board, a gyromite adapter and a custom lable Warlock - SNES I had rewatched the movie recently and decided to play the game. It's not terrible.
  11. It was almost a classic compilation, it had some interesting versions of classic games. The standouts to me were FlipSide, the Asteroids style one and the Lunar Lander style one. Especially that one with the added business aspect to it was pretty inspired in my opinion.
  12. Let me know what you think of it, I think it's a pretty unique twist on the game
  13. An hour of Dark Souls or an hour of animal crossing is the same hour. Games is games
  14. Does anyone remember this thing? It had 50 or so games in a portable console. I don't know where they got the roms for them, but there's a couple I'd actually play and would like to get for emulation if that's even possible. One game is called yummy and tasty and it reminds me of Save Mary with Tetris pieces, the other is Blazebusters which is like a 16bit version of the Famicom game Flying Hero
  15. I know there's a philosophical debate on what constitutes an RPG. If there's any game system that could have an rpg in it's most basic form it would be the Atari.
